About

Sage Dental is a network of over 140 modern, full-service dental clinics across Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, and Alabama. The clinics offer comprehensive dental care, including general, cosmetic, specialty, and pediatric dentistry, all in one location. Their focus is on providing high-quality, convenient, and affordable care for the whole family, accepting most insurance plans and offering a discount plan for those without.
Sage Dental of West Miami is a location of the larger Sage Dental brand, a dental clinic network that operates over 140 offices across multiple states including Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, and Alabama. The brand's philosophy is centered on providing a "one-stop shop" for comprehensive dental services, which means patients can receive both general and specialized care without needing outside referrals. This approach provides a more convenient and seamless experience for patients, as it allows for a diverse range of services to be offered under a single roof. Services include, but aren't limited to: General Dentistry: Routine cleanings, exams, and fillings. Specialty Services: orthodontics (braces, Invisalign), periodontics (gum care), endodontics (root canals), oral surgery (wisdom teeth extraction, dental implants), and pediatric dentistry. Cosmetic Procedures: teeth whitening, veneers, and full-mouth reconstructions. Sage Dental's brand identity is built on three key pillars: patient-focused care, value consciousness, and being community-minded. They emphasize using the latest clinical technology and creating a family-friendly environment. To address the financial concerns of patients, they accept most major dental insurance plans. For those without insurance, they offer a discount plan called SageCare+, which provides significant savings on services. The West Miami office, like other Sage Dental locations, features a team of both general dentists and specialists, ensuring that patients can receive coordinated and comprehensive treatment for all their dental needs, from simple check-ups to complex procedures.

The office is quite welcoming. Beatriz is both professional and caring. Beatriz went above and beyond to verify and secure my coverage. It is truly a pleasure to work with someone who takes so much care as Beatriz does! I look forward to working with her in the future.

!!! DO NOT GO !!! Absolutely the WORST experience I’ve ever had with any dental or medical office. The receptionist I spoke with to schedule my appointment entered the wrong reason for the visit and wouldn’t answer my questions. She spoke very broken English. I chose this place only because my previous dental office (which I loved) no longer accepted my insurance, and I had missed my regular cleaning in December. I arrived on time, but waited over an hour because I had to repeatedly clarify with them that they entered the wrong appointment reason. Finally, I was taken to the back, where they told me I needed new exams even though they already had the ones from my previous dentist.

I agreed, just to get the cleaning done since it had already been 1. 5 hours. After the exam, I met with a “hygienist” (more like a sales rep) who kept cutting me off, wouldn’t let me speak, fear-mongered the heck out of me, and then sent me to a manager to hand me a bill for over $2,000 for a cleaning! I’ve NEVER paid anywhere near that—and I haven’t changed insurances. I asked for the bare minimum option, and even that was over $900 for a deep cleaning. I walked out after 2. 5 HOURS.

I really wanted this place to work since it’s close to home, and I gave it a chance despite the negative reviews. But I had the EXACT same experience as many of the 1–2 star reviews. Sage Dental made it feel like they were trying to sell me personal training at a gym-focused only on sales, never the person. To the owner: unless you're offering a free or heavily discounted cleaning, don’t bother replying with a copy/pasted response like you do for every negative review.

Worst dental provider in Miami! I had an incredibly disappointing experience with this provider. I was charged $140 per quadrant for gingival irrigation, a total of $560, for a procedure that is not even covered by my insurance and is typically either included in a cleaning or costs a fraction of that elsewhere. To make matters worse, the overall service was cold, rushed, and impersonal. It felt more like a profit-driven operation than a place focused on patient care. I’ve never felt so taken advantage of at a dental office. Be very careful before booking here.

Always ask for a full breakdown of charges before any treatment especially if you’re using insurance. I would not recommend this provider to anyone. On top of that, the staff is constantly trying to upsell unnecessary services you don’t actually need. It felt more like I was being sold to than cared for. DO NOT GO HERE!

I’m leaving this negative review for Sage Dental because my recent experience was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I went in for a routine cleaning and check-up, but instead of receiving the service I came for, I was aggressively pushed into treatments I didn’t need. They insisted on a deep cleaning and made it seem like it was the only acceptable option, which felt more like a sales tactic than a medical recommendation. After the visit, I took the X-rays they gave me to my trusted family dentist for a second opinion.

He reviewed everything and clearly told me I did not need a deep cleaning or any of the excessive treatments Sage Dental was trying to push. He confirmed that their recommendations were unnecessary, exaggerated, and frankly unprofessional. To make things worse, they canceled an appointment I never canceled, and then charged me a $40 no-show fee—even though I had personally rescheduled it with them. This kind of behavior is both unethical and unprofessional.

It’s frustrating to see what should be a healthcare service turn into a high-pressure sales environment with little transparency. Patients deserve honesty and proper care—not manipulation. I hope this helps others make a more informed choice.
