Recently, moved back to the Massachusetts area and needed a new provider. I knew ahead of time that I needed to get a deep clean done. Rich was the dental hygienist that performed the deep clean. He explained everything he was going to do and why and then efficiently got everything taken care of, about as good as a trip to the dentist can be.

Absolutely recommend coming here and seeing Dr. McDougall!! I have had intense anxiety about seeing a dentist. I struggle with depression and PTSD from an assault which has made it incredibly difficult to feel safe with the idea of someone touching me, and my hygiene suffered as a trauma defense. Over the years I’ve tried a few dentists with not great experiences. One laughed in my face, one said he didn’t want to bother saving my teeth if I wasn’t going to take care of them, and the last dentist wanted to remove all my upper teeth for a better looking smile. That was my expectation coming in, but in no way is what actually happened. I was never made to feel judged for getting to this point.
No laughter, no lectures, just a solid plan that focused on my health and took my comfort and future into account. I’ve had deep cleaning, extractions, root canals, crowns, bridges, fillings, whitening. I’ve spent a lot of time here. I started with someone coming with me, eyes closed, and very loud Taylor Swift on my headphones. Now I feel comfortable enough to come alone, look at the ceiling, and just enjoy having to do nothing for a while. The office is very patient-centered and every person here has made me beyond comfortable, relaxed, and excited for what comes next. While working they’ve checked in to make sure I’m okay and would let me know what they were doing.
Their rapport with each other is just as important, it’s a great vibe here. Getting my teeth fixed has improved things so drastically for me I felt like I had to share this if it could help someone in a similar situation. oral health and mental health are intrinsically linked and you are worth feeling the best you can. I know how long it can take to be ready, and I know how difficult it is to actually start. But it feels SO good to have a healthier mouth and feel like myself again.

Unbelievable great experience here at Aspen Dental. Everyone from the front staff. To the technicians. Doctor's and all in between. They treat you like a person. No judgement. I would recommend, this particular office.

WOW what great care I got from aspen dental, place was clean. Rich was so personable AND knowledgeable! Then Genesis and Doctor Mcdougal did a great job and knew exactly what I needed done. What I like about this place… is they don’t hesitate.
The team was running in clear symbiosis and you could feel it. Renee was also very kind and checked in with me on my way out. Thanks guys I’ll see you again
