Was trying to find a dentist for regular cleanings. Apparently this is not that type of place. My first appt was an hour long only consisting of x rays, a quick poke by a dr and a dental hygienist, Melissa, that couldn't figure out how to answer my questions, only repeating exactly what she already said multiple times. While reading my gum pocket measurements way too fast, her poor assistant couldn't keep up with her, leading to repeat measuring multiple times.

Also while she wasnt with me she was treating some poor girl next to me which I could hear clear as day, confusing her about novacain injection vs numbing gel. Then sending me to an office to discuss my 'treatment plan' which consisted of 2 separate 1 hour appts costing $1400. All I wanted was a cleaning! On top of that I had a morning appt, an hour after they opened and every trash can I saw was overflowing and there were paperclips and other things on the floor in my exam room, showing they didnt do any type of cleaning at the end of the day before. Not impressed at all.

Will not be going back.

I visited the Aspen Dental office at 17 Fresh river Rd NH, one time for an initial visit. I decided to be seen elsewhere. The doctor told me I had a great smile then proceeded to try and sell me invisible braces. Very confusing and weird, my teeth are straight. When I called the office manager just to cancel my next appointment, I was polite letting her know I would need my records sent to a different office. Apparently she took this personal, and was very rude.

On top of — I provided my in network insurance information the day of my visit — the office manager decided to not use my insurance but bill me directly. Which caused me to have to reach out to my Insurance as well as Aspen Dental call center in order to resolve this. I can’t help but think due to the rudeness and them having my insurance info, that this was done purposefully. Super weird vibe in this office, and bad customer service. 10/10 would NOT recommend.

The process of going through the X-rays, exam & hygienist preparation was very thorough. I did appreciate how professional Hannah was walking me through the process. However, the consultation and estimated bill was overwhelming. I’m not ready to take out loans to pay for dental issues. I have a bit of work that needs to be done but a 5 figure estimate was beyond my expectations! I’m closer to 7 decades and I am only doing part of what needs to be done. I’m on a fixed income.

Not able to do all. Only what is necessary. They certainly have a variety of very modern equipment and are very nice. But….

I had a minor dental emergency where an area from a previous procedure had become infected and I was a 5 hour drive from my normal dentist. I was able to make an appointment and be seen within 24 hours. It was quick, not painful, everyone was friendly, and I was sent home with antibiotics and a couple devices to help clean the area.

Feeling great now. My thanks to all the staff for being so kind to me during a stressful time! It made a big difference.
