i had scheduled an appointment with Aspen Dental in Pikeville for early March only to call to confirm it and to be told i had to be rescheduled because they had people out sick. Oh and I was sent a text message about my appointment being canceled the morning of around 630am even though my appointment was scheduled for 930 that morning. They rescheduled me for today March 25th which is the only day off I have from work I might add (tuesdays), and I drove an hour and a half to get to my appointment only to be told again that they wouldnt see me simply because I didnt confirm my appointment verbally with them. I thought I confirmed my appointment when I called and was forcefully rescheduled for today? Even more infuriating is the fact that I literally called last thursday to confirm my appointment date with them which was another verbal confirmation that I provided. But because I didnt answer their call the day before (because I work a 10 hr shift at a call center) they cancel my appointment that Ive been waiting three weeks for? What is the purpose of even having an appointment if you're not going to honor it? Needless to say, I won't be wasting my time coming back if this is how they treat their patients.

Absolutely the worst experience I have had with a dental office and its quite obvious they only care about lining their pockets with this type of practice because after sharing my experience several others I know had similar experiences with this company. Too ba because I was prepared to drop a few grand on some badly needed Dental implants or Dentures but I absolutely will not be giving my money to people who are that inconsiderate. If you're not going to honor appointments at least send a text telling someone you've canceled them so they don't waste their time and money driving across the state to get to you. Or I don't know maybe put it on your website that you require "verbal consent" to keep scheduled appointments and detail exactly what's considered a verbal confirmation since I gave mine several times leading up to the appointment. It's funny also that your own website says you offer walking but didn't even offer me that option when I explained that I'd driven 90 minutes just to get there.

I hope they have the day they deserve because frankly I am tired of being polite when my time is wasted and I have wasted enough of it (about a month) trying to get seen by these people. Ridiculous business practice.

My scheduled appointment was right on time. I had x-rays, saw the dental hygienist, the Dentist, and the office manager on my first visit! The office was clean and everyone was professional and courteous. I would highly recommend Aspen Dental in Pikeville, Kentucky.

Super nice staff. Very knowledgeable and understanding. They really do take care of you there. Only thing I could say that I didn’t like is their prices. When I was told that my procedure and and Dentures was 28,000 I was floored. I couldn’t ask for the staff to be anymore more helpful or understanding. Thank you all.

Confirmed appointment by both text and email that was sent directly by Aspen. Drove over an hour and took a day off of work for my appointment only to be told that because they didn't speak to me over the phone on the day before, (regardless of two other confirmations), my appointment was canceled. Do better Aspen! Either quit offering text and email confirmations or include that you must call in those messages.

I waited for this appointment for over 2 months at the Pikeville, KY location. I will definitely not be using Aspen again.
