I made an appointment here because it was easy to book online and they had time available. I went in for a cleaning and to have a tooth looked at where a filing fell out. I had x-rays done and they proceeded to tell me I needed a bunch of work done. My dental hygiene is excellent. I was told I had periodontal disease, would have to return for 2 extensive cleanings on 2 different occasions, needed a root canal where the filling fell out and 2 crowns. They began sending me emails about the implant I needed and all this nonsense.

They never even booked the cleanings they said I needed. I had a 2nd evaluation yesterday at another dentist's office. They performed a routine cleaning and scheduled an appointment for me to come back to have the filling repaired. The dentist told me my teeth were in excellent shape and I did not require 2 extensive cleanings. I do not have periodontal disease. I do not need any root canals or crowns.

This place is a scam at best. Do not let them perform a procedure on you without a 2nd opinion if you've already been there. If you haven't already been there do not go. The filling repair will cost me $35 and I know the work they said I needed would have been hundreds if not thousands out of pocket.

Peace on Earth Everyday

This place is the worst do not go too Aspen Dental. Was there for a routine cleaning they did all these x-rays appointments was for 8:00 when I left at 11:00 . No cleaning they told me I need a deep cleaning. I was like wait a minute I get my teeth clean twice a year at my dentist office and I floss after every meal. Plus the told me the deep cleaning will cost me 594 dollars today. I said what about my routine cleaning that my insurance paid for she told me that I need a deep cleaning.

Listen I wish I would have read the reviews on this place first. It’s was a horrible experience. Run do not go to this place. I have being getting my teeth clean at my dentist for last 30 years twice a year. Just want to try this place because I live right down the road from it

The Newport News location is AMAZING. I didn't have the same experience sadly at their Hampton location. All the staff were a joy and very patient.

They were even short staffed the day I arrived but nothing felt rushed and you never would've known if it wasn't for their sign explaining a possible longer wait time. I truly enjoyed my experience with this office and their GREAT bedside manner from the receptionist straight to the customer service reps helping with payment options.

Kinda have mixed feelings on this one. Made the appointment was told be there 15 early for paperwork they don't open their doors until 7:30. Staff very polite but the air fresheners they use isn't good for those with sinus allergies. One restroom for both sexes whether you're in the front or back. I was there for one tooth extraction to come back later to get partial , kinda felt a little pressured to do implants .

The wait time seemed a bit long . The room they had me wait before tooth extraction again with the wall scent had to cover my nose and mouth. The prices seem pretty decent especially for the extraction that I give a 5 star ! Need at least 2 dentist to cut down on wait time.
