Yes, today I had an appointment with Dr Watt. First time I have had her do dental work on me. First time in years I've had any dental work because I have my teeth cleaned every 2 or is it 3 months. Anyway, she removed an old filling and inserted a new filling and deemed that I did not need a crown.
Found Dr Watt to be very professional and pleasant and she worked with me the entire time. It was an enjoyable experience. N Hochman

Scheduled an appointment online. Soonest I was able to be seen was roughly a week out. Went in today, 3/25, for visit as a new patient. Upon entering and talking to the front desk, I was met with two employees, one was not in any uniform and you wouldn’t have known he worked there, his primary role was likely a receptionist. The other was a dental hygienist it seemed, but she was involved in the reception conversation and process even more than the other employee. At this point things already were starting off on the wrong foot. The hygienist interjected that she had been calling me and they left me a voicemail, but this was not true at all, I never received a voicemail. I also tried to explain that I was planning on uploading all of my insurance information and dental history prior to coming in, but their website wouldn’t let me complete these forms and register without my account number, which I was never given. I explained that to her and she just laughed and shook her head and told me ignore all that, the system doesn’t work correctly -almost like this happens all the time to customers. Once again, very bizarre and mismanaged. This hygienist was very rude, right from the start with an aggressive demeanor. Bombarding me with questions and abruptly intervening during my statements as I’m trying to give them backstory on my previous dental history.
I just moved to Delray from out of state so I was trying to see if my dental records could get transferred over in order to provide more dental history and possibly include or exclude potential next steps with this dentistry. I was giving her some information and she kept interrupting me and telling me what they are going to need to do to my mouth next, what’s going to be needed, and further more some excessive plans. Note they literally have not even examined my mouth yet. It was just very off putting all together. She was aggressive, condescending, and made me feel overwhelmed and puzzled. When she was telling me all of these extensive procedures she’s going to need to do, I told her I had never heard of some of these things, and she told me rudely “yeah well your previous dentistry was in Denver, this is Florida and this is how we do it here”. I laughed to myself, what a weird thing to say, what does that even mean, lol? I want to reiterate, I literally haven’t even sat down for an X-ray yet. They did seem understaffed and she kept leaving and entering the building for the 10 minutes I was there. Additionally, she kept telling me I’ll need to pay for certain procedures with unknown amounts, assuming I have didn’t have any insurance coverage. The other employee kept telling her that I was in fact covered and would have no cost out of pocket. I have phenomenal employer provided dental insurance might I add. I felt like it was a brazen assumption and potential stereotype.
Then the other employee told me that I’ll need to come back to get my cleaning and x-rays together as they are understaffed and can’t fulfill this today. I won’t be returning under any circumstances. There are plenty of dentists to go to and for something so intimate and important to me, I just expected a much more accommodating and pleasant experience than what I received. This experience made them lose a potential long term customer right before I was even able to sit in the hygienist’s chair. Great Expressions is operated under a corporate entity, so they should maybe take a look and review this employees performance. They just made a new patient want to leave immediately. I highly recommend you just avoid this place based off my experience. I don’t write reviews for the sake of it, but this was just alarming and I advise others to avoid. UPDATE: I emailed them immediately after receiving the response below and I haven’t been contacted yet. I would seriously RUN away from this place.
