I couldn’t be happier with my experience at Smiles in the Gardens. It’s an office where everyone is very kind and makes you feel at home. The doctors are wonderful and take their time to explain the consequences of not getting treatment, as well as offering very reasonable payment options! And what can I say about my hygienist? If you’re someone who has had a bad experience before or feels anxious about dental treatment, Lisbet’s gentle touch while cleaning my teeth has been more than delicate! She takes her time to calm my anxiety, and in the end, the results are amazing, plus, she shows you before and after photos.

I’ve never had a better experience! So I highly recommend them! Thank you, Smiles in the Gardens.

I had a great experience here! This was my first time here, the people were nice and the place was beautiful. My hygienist Lisbet was incredibly nice and made me feel very welcomed. Throughout the entire appointment she provided great explanations for what her and the doctor did during my visit. I would definitely go back!

Love the zero wait time. My dental hygienist was phenomenal!! She took the time to get to know me as it was our first visit together. My Dentist is fantastic! Very kind and thorough. I never mind going to the dentist! They’re the best!!!

I do not write negative reviews of business. I offer this one, a belated one by two years, only because I think it may help our community as it assesses where to get dental care. My family and I had been loyal and blissfully satisfied patients of Smiles in the Gardens for years; we found them consistently professional and caring. However, starting a few years ago, when longstanding dentists retired, a change occurred. I suspect something happened with their business model, but I am in no position to assess if that happened or what it was. What I do know is that friends and relatives who patronized the practice at that point had procedures recommended by the newer dentists which, when reviewed by other dental professionals, were deemed unnecessary and an overeach. The piece de resistance: Prior to leaving the practice, I had an appointment and sat in the waiting room, ungreeted, for 20 minutes. I learned the receptionist was out that day, and can certainly understand how that can create lapses in service.

Nonetheless, when in the waiting room, the staff at the back and patients in the waiting room can catch glimpses of one another. I literally waved my hands as I caught glimpses of staff going by, saying, Hello, excuse me? Can you help me? All made eye contact. All ignored me. One of the ignorers was a Dentist who had treated me in the past. Eventually a hygienist came out to check the waiting room, and expressed surprise that I was there because the "color on my computer that is supposed to change when someone arrives had not changed. " I suggested that she might have thought about the receptionist being absent, or perhaps even gone in person to look in the waiting room. I went back with her, she was apologetic, but the sting from the original blunder remained. The person who checked me out, who I related to story to, was also apologetic, but made zero accommodation for me on the bill - not that I asked for it, but as a business owner, it did occur to me that doing so for a longtime patient would have been a goodwill gesture reflecting well on the culture of the practice.

As I said, I am happy that many patients are happy, but disappointingly, I am not. There are many dental practices in our community. I moved on to one that appears more conservative in their recommendations and seems to value their patients in a more genuine fashion. If this practice works for you, great. Maybe they have improved. Take from it what you will.
