Redwood Pediatric Dentistry is absolute perfection for kids—my two little ones (ages 3 and 6) actually beg to go! The office is a wonderland with tree-themed murals, a mini play zone, and TVs on the ceiling showing cartoons during cleanings. Dr. Larson has a gift with children—she turns “scary” tools into “magic wands” and explains everything in silly, kid-friendly terms. The hygienists are equally amazing, singing along to nursery rhymes while gently cleaning tiny teeth.

They never rush, even when my youngest gets wiggly, and send home cute toothbrushes that make brushing fun. As a parent, I love their focus on prevention and how they educate both kids and adults. A total game-changer for pediatric dental care!

We’ve been patients of Redwood Pediatric for 21 years. All 5 of my kids have loved their experience here. The staff is fun and always happy. We’ve not only had excellent treatment, but Dr Jason and team are always proactive to help us with upcoming needs and recommendations like orthodontic, wisdom teeth removal ect. I always appreciate having someone we like and trust in our corner.

Dr Chuck is the best! We've been coming for years! My daughter loves him because "he makes funny jokes and it doesn't hurt when he pulls out my teeth!" He's so much fun, I wish he cleaned adult teeth! All the hygienists and staff are so nice and friendly.

Medical staff was great. Not too happy with the front desk service in the slightest. They wouldn’t check us in at all till services had been paid in full, I was meeting my wife there as I had to leave work. I got there about 20 mins after my wife and daughter did just to find out they hadn’t been checked in; I sat down to check on my daughter because she was anxious when the front desk girl came over and was persistent that she needed payment before she would move forward. I went up to the counter and went to pay with our care credit card only to be told they don’t accept that payment; nowhere is that stated, lord they have jumped through the hoops for Medicare/caid, but not for care credit? The amount charged for the simple liquid relaxer is pretty outrageous as well (which most insurances conveniently don’t cover).

Again, med staff was great, my issue is with the admin side, very pushy on that end. Okay so I typed this out while we were still in the waiting area and pissed off, originally this was going to be submitted as a 1-2 star review. I am bumping it up to a 3 because of how great the med staff has truly been. Our 5 year old is autistic and the two people who worked with her (Dr. McDonald and his assistant, Megan) were absolutely amazing, like I’ve never seen people do three oral injections to numb everything up without someone having to manage (restrain) to some extent; these two just talked her through everything and comforted her so well, I was absolutely blown away.

If I were to rate the medical service by itself, I’d happily give 10 stars; unfortunately I’ve got to review the process as a whole so I’ve got to stick with the three stars overall for now. Admin staff = 1 star Medial staff = 10 stars without any hesitation.
