Mad River Family Dental is the heart of our community’s dental care—warm, reliable, and perfect for families. My three kids (ages 5, 9, and 13) actually ask to go to the dentist now! Dr. Rivera has a gift with little ones, using a “tooth explorer” game to make checkups fun, and my teen loves the noise-canceling headphones during cleanings. The office feels like a cozy cabin with river-themed decor, which makes appointments feel less clinical.

They handled my daughter’s cavity with such care—she didn’t even cry! The staff remembers our names and asks about our weekend, and they offer Saturday hours that save our busy weeknights. Insurance is a breeze, and they’re transparent about costs. Finally, a dental home that feels like part of the family.

The doctor and the staff are very kind, friendly and patient. I have issues with positional vertigo, which limits how far back that the doctor or the assistant can recline my chair. They were very understanding and gracious to accommodate, by keeping my chair more in an upright position and they stood to work on my teeth.

I am grateful and truly appreciate their professionalism and kindness. Their receptionist is the most positive, bubbly friendly people that I think I have ever met!! Thank you all!!

I love their office. I’ve never wanted to go to the dentist before dr hickeys office. Id explicitly avoid it. I knew my dental health sucked and chose have it suck alone without judgement for as long as I could. In contrast I look forward to sorting through this mess with mad river dentals excellent team.

I never feel judged or gross even when I totally understand my teeth are screwy right now. I feel content giving them my money. I feel safe when complications from my teeth happen to get help. I feel like a person first and foremost. I even look forward to telling them the wins I’m making and to fix my teeth on a daily basis too.

From top to bottom of staff I’ve met have greeted me by name and with genuine kindness. Without this clinic I think my dental health would have kept the trajectory it’s been on and I’d have lost my teeth. Even while I’m hard to get in contact with there was no judgment just an honest question of which way is best to get in touch with me moving forward. I deeply appreciate their clinic.

Very friendly and professional staff! As a new patient, I was thoroughly satisfied with my first cleaning. While waiting to be call back I noticed every person who walked in was greeted with genuine hospitality. The office staff went above and beyond to work out any issue. Thank Mad River Dental.
