I’ve had crowns, veneers, and fillings done and I’m 100% satisfied with all of his work. I’ve referred my wife and several friends and all of them are very happy with Dr. Sands as their new dentist.

Front desk person of 24 years was leaving a few weeks after I was seen. She'd practically already left weeks earlier (did not return calls, claimed I had to verify insurance until they called her, didn't bill for our claims or call with estimates for work). Lots of excuses, she will call back etc but did not happen. New staff always reminded me they are new, did not submit approvals for work correctly which caused 2 month delay. They would just resubmit and via US mail rather than provide what was missing and do it electronically.

I was told by Dr. Sands I had 5 cavities and needed 1 crown. In the end his staff told me I had 10 cavities (teeth involved varied each time I called) and the location of the tooth for the crown changed multiple times. I was told twice it was for teeth I no longer have. I spoke with Dr.

Sands and he seemed eager to resolve but then called and blamed the delays on insurance until I mentioned resubmissions of approvals and by US Mail. He said he would research further and call me back but never did. Follow through completely lacking by whole staff. I read other reviews with concerns about billing for work not needed. Beware

I’ve been going to Dr. Sands since I moved here in 2017. His staff is always pleasant and welcoming. They are quick but thorough. He always ensures I never feel any pain during procedures. I honestly look forward to my cleanings. Highly recommend!
