I went to this office 20+ years ago and after cycling through a few other practices came back to it as I met Dr. Cardman about 10 years ago when he was with another practice. He is a very pragmatic, candid, and to the point provider with the skills to back it up. That's what I wanted. Tell me what time it is, not how to make the clock, and let's get it done. If you are anxious about the dentist then his staff will take great care of you. They are the warm blanket in this equation and you spend more time with them than him. Medically speaking - and I mean across the board, you should never trade a warm fuzzy feeling for a mediocre product. You should always pick the most talented provider over the nicest one because ultimately it is the best outcome you want and are paying for, not the memory. The memory fades, but you use that arm, leg, or tooth every day.

I’ve owned my own business for 30 years and if I was as sensitive as this dentist I wouldn’t have lasted a year. He jumped up and headed for the door because we were asking questions about getting dentures which would be a major expense for us.He basically insulted my wife and told us to go find another dentist. We definitely agreed with him on that.
