The dentist here was horrible to my mother this morning. She has a very hard time moving and her neck movement is very limited. She has always loved the staff here as they always treat her as a human being. This dentist did not treat her as such. He kept telling her not to “flake out” next time because he would be late for the other patients.

She was embarrassed by his demeaning behavior. There is little to no compassion from Dr. Schroeder, especially if you are handicapped or elderly.

My entire family is new to this practice. The customer service is by far the worst I have ever experienced from any professional office. They do not tell you that the "oral cancer screening" or "fluoride" are not included in the exam until you check out. This information should be disclosed BEFORE you even confirm the appointment. They simply tell you that the copay could be anywhere from 100-125 depending on your insurance. LIES- you don't pay for a preventative cleaning PERIOD. 1st child went, was charged, I threw a fit, nothing was done. My 2nd child went on their own insurance, same thing, was not told and when checking out was required to pay. 3rd child went, and didn't know what she was paying for so just quietly paid and left, so when it was time for the 4th child to have a cleaning. . . . I called and scheduled the appt and TOLD DONNA THAT WE DO NOT WANT THE CANCER SCREENING, and it was "noted and missed" at the appointment and my child of course, charged for said services that we did not want (they did say they would refund her). . . . . So not only did you miss a NOTE in the chart (what if they had allergies) pretty sloppy to say the least. . . and dangerous. .

. . . While cleaning behind my child's permanent retainer with regular dental floss, the hygienist pulled so hard up behind it, she broke off the permanent retainer and they literally sent her out the door! I called and they tried to tell me it was broken before she came in. . . . LIES. . . They hung up on me 3 times because they couldn't answer my questions about pricing and who was going to pay for the BROKEN RETAINER. You want to talk about ethics. . . . there are none at this practice, and for someone to treat a new patient in this manner is insane to me. They will not accept responsibility for their actions right or wrong. Please look for dental care for your children elsewhere, these people only care about money and charging you for items that are not needed. Read the reviews, they all say the same thing. Just be honest, it's really not that hard. To close this. .

. . the audacity of the receptionist DONNA to ask me if when my children go to the Dr for a physical, do they ask the Dr. in the middle of the physical to check for the "good cholesterol and the bad cholesterol" and that is where I drew the line. I simply responded, "no we don't have to ask for that, they do their job and check it as they should with any physical and labs and my insurance covers that 100%" and that wasn't the answer she wanted either so she hung up on me again LOL. My child called back, they agreed to refund her for the charges she paid for since it was their mistake (REMINDER, MISSED NOTES IN THE PATIENTS CHART). . . . . however, we still have to go back to the orthodontist after 10 years of having no issues with said retainer, to see if she needs a new one, or it can be re-bonded. Please don't put your children through this same nightmare, and find someone who actually cares about your dental health! Update @ 3:55pm- Farabee Family Dental called the orthodontist and admitted to breaking the retainer during their cleaning, and paid for the broken one to be repaired and also refunded my child back all of the money that was paid and shouldn't have been. That was the right thing to do, but our family won't be back. Read the Yelp reviews, it's the same things over and over. Do better with young adults that are just starting to go to these appointments on their own. This was my child's first time going to the dentist on her own, and the first time going to this one!!! Way to make an impression. . . .

I tend to avoid the dentist until something is wrong - thanks to a terrifying childhood experience and a college mishap where my old dentist nearly pulled the wrong tooth. 😬 So trying a new place was a gamble… but I totally lucked out with Farabee Family Dental! Dr. Schroeder, Tasha, Tina, Christina, Brenna (and another I’m forgetting!) were all really nice and made me feel comfortable (and way less self-conscious).

Bonus: TVs in the procedure rooms! Getting a crown and fillings while watching The Morning Show made the whole thing go by pretty quickly and much less stressful:).

I just moved back to this area and had not established a dentist yet and due to a chipped tooth had to find someone sooner than expected. Farabee Family dental was professional during my call and were able to fit me in quickly for initial screening and the dental work I ended up needing. As someone with a history of heavy dental needs, I was glad to find a place I felt comfortable.

Everyone I’ve interacted with has been very friendly. Highly recommend!
