Colorado West Endodontics treated me so great from the first call until the procedure was over! Dr Barnhurst was absolutely amazing! Dr Barnhurst was professional, knowledgeable, gentle, and kind. The staff was truly a pleasure to converse with, and treated me as if I was a member of the family! I would absolutely recommend Colorado West Endodontics to anyone in need of quality care in their mouth.

My experience at Colorado west Endodontics was amazing! The front desk was warm and welcoming. I was nervous going in, but was soon set at ease with their reassurance and kindness. The doctor went in detail about the procedure, and he made everything make sense. Dr. Barnhurst was the BEST at giving injections. Very impressed! The assistant was so kind.

She and the doctor worked quick and efficiently together to get the job done right! My tooth was in so much pain and now my tooth has never been better. Root canals always seemed intimidating, but was one of the easiest dental procedures I’ve ever gotten. I’m so glad I went to a an Endodontist specialist. One piece of advice to people. Sometimes it’s hard to get in to see your general dentist, they are booked out for weeks or months! I was really worried about this. When I called them, even though they had a busy schedule, they worked with me in getting me in quickly! So don’t wait in pain, give them a call!

Im writing this review because the first one I wrote I deleted. My initial experience with Colorado West Endo was good! Nice, courteous, and polite. The doctor took his time and (I THOUGHT) did a good job giving me a root canal on my lower left molar. [BEFORE I GO ANY FURTHER I WANT TO EXPLAIN THAT I'VE HAD APPROX. 12 ROOT CANALS IN MY LIFE TIME AND AM VERY FAMILIAR WITH THE PROCEDURE AND PROCESS OF HAVING ONE DONE] About a month after the root canal was performed by Colorado West Endo, I started to have a mild continual pain that wouldn't go away. I reached out to one of my other regular dentists and he said that the pain may be coming from the back tooth and it had a cavity and needed fixed. . So I went ahead and had the cavity fixed and the pain still existed. With the paint still present a little under 2 years later I contacted Colorado West for an appointment to see why my Root Canal Tooth that they did is still hurting and having continual pain. [THERE IS NO EXISTING PAIN ON THE SURROUNDING TEETH] When I went in for a consultation on this issue, I DID NOT see the doctor that gave me the procedure, instead I saw a doctor that I never seen before and knew nothing about what was going on. .

This doctor HEM HAWD around talking about all the previous work I had done by other dentists around the rood canal tooth and blaming my pain on everything but the tooth in question! I was very disappointed and upset that the doctor that actually did the procedure (Barnhurst?? Baus??) did not meet with me and discuss the situation of what we can do to stop the pain! I was told that the tooth in front of the root canal was causing the pain so I had it pulled out for an implant. . . THAT DID NOT DO ANYTHING TO CHANGE THE PROBLEM! The TOOTH still hurts to this day and I will have to have it pulled out and have an Implant put in. The doctor (BARNHURST?? BAUS??) actually contacted me after my initial Google review and was very apologetic and even offered to give me a full refund! I told him this wasn't about MONEY this was about putting your trust into a Dentist to make the pain go away and I was very upset that he had his "PARTNER" meet with me and give me the DOUBLE TALK -- MAKE ME FEEL LIKE IT"S MY FAULT --- HEM HAW CRAP SHOOT -- LINE OF B. S. -- GUILT TRIP ACTION! I did NOT complain to get a REFUND,, I did NOT wait almost 2 years to complain to get FREE MONEY BACK! But this is the kind of action is created to make you feel this way when "THEY" act smarter then you and are NOT LIVING WITH THE DAILY PAIN 24 hours a day 7 DAYS A WEEK and can't even eat food properly. They do their procedure, get paid and HEM HAW with GUILT TRIPS and make you feel like it's all your fault!!! The moral of this story??? --- SHOP AROUND and DO YOUR REASEARCH BEFORE HAVING ANY DENTAL WORK DONE. . These DENTISTS are OPEN ARMS for BLEEDING HEARTS like me and you. .

THEY ARE INTIMIDATING AND USE BIG WORDS AND SMART TALK TO MAKE YOU FEEL LITTLE! Especially when the work is done and they get paid!!!!!!!!!! IT's a REAL SHAME that the only time the "DOCTOR" actually contacted me and was concerned is AFTER I LEAVE A BAD REVIEW. . . He didn't give one care till then! Now Im having the tooth in question pulled out and getting an implant. Im 64 years old and have been going to the dentist since I was 11 years old so Im very familiar with procedures and dental plans. . My wife was a dental assistant for Endodontics, Prosthodontist, Periodontist, Orthodontics, and General Dentists for over 18 years. She was the head assistant for all of her employees and ran the Emergency dental care Office in Dallas Texas. So Im no dummy to Dental work and PROCEDURES! Thanks for the offer of the FULL REFUND, but it's not about MONEY it's about TRUST, Honesty, INTEGRITY, and NO PAIN! Keep your money, the tooth will be pulled out and Ill get an implant! Next time a patient has PAIN ISSUES you should follow up IN PERSON and not send your FILL-IN, STAND-IN, PROXY! See attached picture of root canal tooth where possible air pocket exists. .
