This is a review for dental clinics near Alabama:

I went back because I lost my lower dentures. I'm satisfied with the color, but having trouble with the fit. I've had to go back twice for adjustments already and for see another visit in the near future. Otherwise, I'm happy.

I have been dealing with the franchise of Affordable Dentures since they first came into existence in the early 70’s. To say that I was more than a little disappointed with the one in Dothan, AL, Dr Soritza Robinson and the staff is an understatement. I didn’t find out out how much they tried to cheat me until I refused to accept the dentures they tried to pass off on me until I went somewhere else. First off, I felt I was rushed to make a decision on the type of dentures I wanted. I choose the more expensive ones, over 2000$. This was to include the impressions, the wax try in , adjustments with the actual teeth and then the completed appliances. The first return visit was an already made set that certainly did not fit well and was painful to try. Again rushed to put them in and take them out!! No wax try in!! I returned for a third visit and after waiting a hour and a half, they tried to grind down this same mess until it was a hard rock sitting on my gum! The doctor came in and I tried to explain this was not acceptable. Dr Robinson said I had to get used to it. I tried to explain to her I had a job the I could not take the chance these teeth would pop out of my mouth since they were so ill fitting. The doctor went on to say she had a job too!! We were not talking about her, we were talking about my comfort!! She talked me into leaving and giving them a chance. I got to the car and my husband saw how bad they were and how upset I was. He immediately got out of the car, went to the already locked door and banged on it!! The doctor came out and said she would give me a refund but made it sound like this was my fault!! I am so happy I went somewhere else. These dentures would have been a nightmare. For one, they did not go by their advertised criteria and tried to pass off poor workmanship and just plain thievery of my money. Shame on you Affordable Dentures and Dr Robinson. You should be ashamed of trying to rip off your client!’
