He is our family dentist, we drive 2 hrs from Auburn, Al to see him. High degree of integrity, never tries to overcharge you, good quality work. Occassionally feisty mouth from translating Chinese phrases to English. Kind man who means no harm. He's a somewhat popular choice within the Chinese community but you wouldn't know from the online reviews. We like him and always laugh when reading other people's reviews about him.

I would recommend him; work product competent, no really long waits, concerned about my health, reasonably priced. very concerned with my dental health, stressing that I brush, how plaque builds up, etc. etc. good helpful staff, everyone kind. dr. gao is somewhat single minded about his work and dentistry.

Dr. Chang GAO is a monster, and should go out of business for being inhuman. I sat waiting for 2 hours after my appointment time just to be berated and forced to leave. It was my second time in his office; he refused to perform oral surgery unless he could prove to me how bad my oral hygiene was with a plaque test. He said, quote "how do teeth get like this" numerous times on both visits, "what is with this color of your teeth!", etc etc and almost made me cry. BEWARE! Very Very unprofessional!
