Dr. Ahkami attended New York University (NYU) College of Dentistry from 1995-1999 where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) Degree. From 1999-2000 Dr. Ahkami was a resident at St. Josephs Hospital and Trauma Center in Paterson, NJ there he worked with top Surgeons, Prosthodontists, Periodontists, Endodontists, on patients ranging from trauma to extensive oral rehabilitation and full mouth reconstruction. In 2002 Dr. Ahkami opened his first dental office in Clifton, NJ then opened a second location of 2007 in Edgewater, NJ. After selling his practices in 2012 Dr. Ahkami opened his new location in Wayne, NJ closer to home. Dr. Ahkami is highly regarding by his patients and peers for his dental skills and aesthetic appreciation. His philosophy is based upon recognizing that each patient has individual needs and expectations. He ensures that each patient will approach their treatment plan with a full understanding of the procedures, a full understanding of options available and a realistic expectation of their results. Dr. Ahkami is highly trained in cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign, implants, root canals, and all other phases of dentistry. Dr. Ahkami is also Board Certified by the State of NJ in Botox and all dermal fillers which is an adjunct in his dental practice. This achievement makes Dr Ahkami a true artist when it comes to an overall appearance of a patients face.
