My boyfriend went in for a routine extraction and ended up with a serious surgery , stitches, and hole in his sinuses due to the lack of training provided to a student that obviously should not be doing any extractions what so ever until trained properly. The girl spent 2 1/2 hours trying to extract one tooth and ended up breaking the tooth off in the jaw and damaging the tooth behind it to the point it also required extraction. They had to call in 2 different surgeons to fix the situation ended up with a gaping hole in the roof of his mouth with multiple stitches and collagen to pack and heal the hole they punctured in the sinus cavity from a bad extraction. To top it all off they charged him over $300 for the work they had to do to fix the students mistake.
I’m all for education and training however this is malpractice and shouldn’t be allowed. They gave him antibiotics and prescription mouth wash for follow up care to help heal the wound they created and he couldn’t even go to work today. They provided nothing for pain even though it was far from a routine extraction and charged him 300$+ he would have been better off going to a regular dentist and paying them for a normal extraction and he wouldn’t be in the pain or discomfort that they caused. He would also still have the tooth that they ended up damaging while trying to extract the one tooth that needed to be removed.
I warn you to stay away….

They're good for pulling your teeth out but don't EVER go here for dentures!!! I expressed my concerns MORE than once that my biggest fear was that my teeth would be too big, like a horse. The one doing my teeth told me NUMEROUS times not to worry. I traveled from terra alta, WV to there multiple times over a few months to get this done.
While my medical card paid for the teeth, I put wear and tear on my car and burned gas to get there and back every week. I CAN'T EVEN USE THE TEETH!!!!! The first time I wore them to work my manager asked if they were temporary teeth because they were EXTREMELY too big. I can't wear them in public and i can't OR DRINK with them in so they permanently just sit in my purse.
I'm extremely embarrassed to smile with no teeth and I'm equally embarrassed to smile or walk around with those teeth. My mouth doesn't even close. It's just open all the time and it hurts my mouth to be open all the time! I called a couple weeks after getting them (because i tried to make them work) and they were supposed to call me back and never did!

Went for a tooth extraction as an emergency after calling 7 other dentists with a waiting period over a month I decided to go to the WVU Dental school. Now mind you I went on a day when their were no students and still had a horrible experience. I will say the initial exam was wonderful they listened and gave options but in the end extraction was the best solution. Going forward to the oral surgery part is when things get scary! I was put in a room with no running water or suction. To be honest it was a room with no electronic tools what so ever.
After being numbed twice she came at me with a chisel and started yanking it took an hour for the tooth to come out. Then no pain medication was given for after care especially since the area was for sure traumatized after the yanking and pulling. 3 days post I have canker sores throughout the entire side of my mouth. Yes the tooth pain is gone but the over all trauma left afterwards is way worse than I thought it could ever be.

I have been here twice already! The staff are absolutely friendly and very professional! Both times I had students extract a tooth and I’m absolutely terrified of dentist and losing my teeth but they helped me through every bit of the way and had the tooth extracting in a short period of time with minimal bleeding and excellent healing! They don’t over numb to where the whole face is numb they numb the tooth only and have it out in no time! I will always come back to this dentist!!! Absolute love and trust them all!!! 10/10 recommend especially for same day emergency walk in
