Got my son straightened out and we've been going there since then, even though its 2 hours away. Have to leave due to circumstances, but I'd stay if i could, even though we are out of network. The whole office is great.

Dr. Parks is excellent! My daughter previously became physically nervous when attending dentist offices but Dr. Parks and her staff put her at ease. I really appreciate that they allow parents to be present during the treatment of nervous little ones and she does not push any unnecessary treatments. Mia actually now looks forward to seeing Dr. Parks!

Dr Parks is amazing, and the work she did was top notch, but the staff and office policies she has in place have become a costly mistake that I wish we were aware of in advance of the procedures she performed. We were referred to Dr Parks for dental procedures for my 2 children, as this was Dr Parks' specialty. Her office had an organized envelope of all of the processes needed (covid testing, physicals needed, insurance forms, etc) and then took our insurance information to help determine what the cost of the procedure would be. We wanted to know the full cost so that we could decide if we could afford to have it done or not. They gave us a total, let us know it would need to be paid in advance of the procedures, and that they would handle all of the insurance claims for us. We paid in advance and then had the procedures.

A couple months later we started receiving additional medical bills in the mail for the procedure - above and beyond what was estimated by Dr Parks' staff. Around $25k of additional bills (keep in mind this is for two…but yes. . you read that right. $25,000!!!). When I called her office to try to understand why we were not made aware of these additional charges (as we would definitely not agreed to have the procedures with this price tag!) - we were told that WE SHOULD HAVE KNOWN that any time you do something at the hospital, we would get a lot more bills! There is nothing they can do for us now that the procedure has been done.

We also found out that our insurances were not billed correctly and spent months afterwards working with the insurance companies ourselves to get the claims paid - having to gather our own medical records to prove need for the procedures-as the insurance initially denied any payment saying that pre-authorization was not gained. We are still in progress of having our insurance claims filed properly, and have successfully reduced our balances to around $4. 2k, but still an extremely large amount over the initially estimated cost of $618 total! We thought that by choosing to use Dr Parks, we were choosing an expert, trusting that they knew the entire process and that we would be made aware of all charges that would come from this procedure - not just the minimal office charges. This could have all been avoided if the office would have prepared us for the work to be done appropriately. I do not recommend using this office.

Would not recommend this place at all if you have private insurance. They are only in network with Medicaid patients and they will not tell you until a week prior to your childs procedure.

Called multiple times for months on a balance and approximately how much it would be and their office told me approximately $400 and that our insurance was in network with them, come to find out 7 days before my sons surgery they are not in network with our insurance and I was responsible for $3,000 in the next 3 days! Besides that Dr Parks herself is amazing, but office staff needs more training!
