Dr. Watkins is an excellent dentist whose main priority is making sure his patients are comfortable and get the best dentistry he can offer. The staff is extremely caring and professional. My first experience at Watkins Family Dental has been fantastic and I highly recommend this office.

Easiest crown experience! The appointment to get the temporary crown was painless and pretty quick. The actual permanent crown appointment took less than 25 minutes and was so easy. If I ever need another crown, I will only go to Watkins Family Dental.

I am one of those people who brush and floss my teeth typically 2-3 times each day, everyday to avoid visits to the dentist and most medical professionals, because we were constantly on the move! I can tell you its vital to take care of your health! The Watkins Dental team on Shelbyville Road receives 5 stars for many reasons: a) they honestly care about your dental health in a very professional way, b) they find a way to make you feel like you're their number one concern, c) you won't miss your appointment, unless it's intentional on your part, because the text reminders requiring you to respond push you to address your appointment! You leave the 'critical care team' of professionals with joy, at the front desk heading back to other team members only to find more kindness and skill. Mrs. 'Curly Red Head' knows her job!!! She is someone who wants your teeth to last a lifetime! She "softens the blow on the front end" and prepares you with the truth about what you need to do going forward, i. e.

she was absolutely truthful about what works at home and what doesn't, based on facts! She's clear about helping you understand your dental health program at home in a very nice way. I listened closely about how to take better care of my teeth/myself! I took to heart what to do! This team at Watkins Dental presented a better offer; specifically a better dental outcome! This cohesive team gives you that feeling that they love what they do! I initially reached out for my husband who is facing a critical emergency with another company and we needed a backup plan to address a far more critical life threatening issue. I am confident that despite the fact that they may not be able to turn around his poor dental or critical outcome; they have agreed to be there to try and address his emergency should his medical cognitive impairment cause him to proceed with Dental implants ($35k minimum) from CC/LC, despite my absolute rejection! I am from out of town and had a temporary crown to come off. Dr Watkins and his staff did a wonderful job gluing the crown back on. He took the time to make a small correction and to explain what was going on with my tooth.

I am so grateful for their help and kindness. If I lived in Louisville I’d want them to be my regular dentist! I highly recommend Dr Watkins and his patient and caring staff. Steve Perry
