I just left Stonecrest Dentistry for a scheduled teeth cleaning. I need to make this review due to the fact that my experience today was awful in many ways. Dr. Cabana has been our family dentist for several years. He spoke to me in May about recommending I see a periodontist due to pockets around my molars. Did not refer me to one but he did speak of it.

I had my X-rays in May and we discussed it. My X-rays are not due til next time - as well as I need a crown. I feel honestly Dr. cabana is upset I keep putting my crown off ( that ultimately is not bothering me- although he says there is a tiny tiny hairline crack in that tooth. So he’s making no money from me but teeth cleanings. Without my X-rays after I rescheduled my crown, he was very angry as far as said my teeth in front which has never ever been mentioned ever -just molars - were showing same issues as molars! Bottom line my cleaning before last with Sara whom I love there -I got feedback my teeth and pockets in my molars (particularly left side is more of issue- )was improved! Dr.

Cabana was very very rude today and his bedside manors were very disrespectful! Again as he explained only looking at previous X-rays from May instead of at least looking at X-rays due in 3 months. First thing Hygienist said when he came in room that I was rescheduling crown again and I do whole heartedly believe it is because I held back for now on my crown and he was aggravated mainly. Also he mentions or I could sign a form and continue to get teeth cleaning there! ( otherwise I guess I am not welcome) I’m assuming of potential lawsuit due to pockets at my molars. Needless to say I thought I had found a good dentist who cared about his people dearly and not out for the almighty dollar.

I cannot say enough, good things about this practice. Dr. Moore and her staff go above and beyond and are just the best natured dental office I've ever had . . . and I'm old!! . My Initial introduction to this office was due to a tooth that broke two days before a trip. The entire office stepped up to make sure I got on the plane with a full set of teeth! Having recently moved to Fort Mill, I was thrilled I had found my new dentist here.

Subsequently, when I returned we took x-rays and laid out a dental plan for the next year. When we progressed to a procedure that was somewhat complicated and expensive and fully within this office is capabilities, Dr. Moore recommended that to accomplish exactly what I wanted done, I should see a colleague of hers. To be honest, I was quite happy to have her do the procedure, Dr. Moore was more concerned that I would be happy with the outcome. She insisted I had this procedure done elsewhere. The ethics in this office are above reproach!
