I hadn’t been to the dentist in over three years because of a couple of really uncomfortable visits at other places. I knew I needed to go but kept putting it off. From the moment I walked into South Kendall Dentistry, though, I felt like I was in good hands. The front desk staff and office manager were super friendly and made me feel comfortable right away. Dr. Omar Vazquez and Flavia were amazing.

They really listened to what I was nervous about and took things slow. They made sure I was okay the whole time, even telling me I could take a break if I needed to, which helped a lot. For the first time in years, I’m actually looking forward to going back. I feel like I’m finally on the right path to getting my smile and gum health back, and I’m really thankful for this team.

I recently visited Dr. Velazquez due to severe tooth pain. After conducting an online search, I chose their practice, as I had not seen a dentist in some time due to a longstanding phobia stemming from previous negative experiences. I was sincerely welcomed by the staff, who were exceptionally kind and accommodating.

Their gentle and compassionate approach made a significant difference in my overall experience. I am truly grateful for their outstanding care and professionalism. May their dedication and service be continually rewarded. God bless them all!

Dr Omar Vasquez is extremely knowledgeable, and professional. Also, his entire office staff is wonderful, and very accommodating and helpful in every way. I’ve been a patient there for 3 years, and I will continue to go there for all of my dental needs. I highly recommend him to everyone I know for all of their dental needs. This office has high technology equipment, and accepts most Insurance, and also very reasonable for cash patients.

I had a crown procedure done, and I am extremely satisfied with the results. I also, go there for my routine check up, and hygiene cleanings. If you are looking for an honest, knowledgeable, professional Doctor with a wonderful staff, this is where you want to go. Thank you, Dr Vasquez and Staffing

While the office and staff are fantastic, I have had nothing but issues with their billing system. I haven’t been to this office in over a year and am continuing to get new balance notifications. Before my first visit I called to confirm they accepted my insurance. They said they did, so I made the appointment and went. They gave me an estimate based on my insurance, which I paid immediately and all was good. I then had another appointment 6 months later.

Same deal, estimate based on insurance, payment made all good. Then 6 months later I get a large bill for my initial visit, which was over a year ago at that point. I called and complained and they agree to waive the additional costs. Now almost a year after that, so 1. 5 years since my last visit, I am getting yet ANOTHER billing request. I have good insurance, so basic dental coverage should be completely covered minus my copay.

It should not be this complicated and I have NEVER had this issues with any other dental office I have ever been to. Like I said, the office and the staff are great. I wish I could go back here, but their billing system is ATROCIOUS! I do not recommend anyone go here unless you are okay with getting random bills years after services.
