Excellent service and care from all staff. I live in Georgia and was visiting Hyattsville, Maryland where my tooth broke and I needed emergency surgery. The staff was very understanding setting me up with and appointment the same day. Dr. Al-Najjar who performed the surgery explained the procedure every step of the way and knowing my fear of needles as well as of doctors was very comforting.
I highly recommend Smiles of Hyattsville. Thanks again Dr. Deepa and your staff.

If you are looking for all around experts, then Dr Deepa and associates should be your go-to team. I've had several procedures done at this practice, from cleanings, a Root Canal and several crowns. This office allows particular experts in the field to work on the particular procedure you need done. Since this practice is not a One-Dentist-Does-It-All practice, I can tell you how extremely happy I am with Dr Deepa and her entire team. The last procedure I had done was a crown. In fact I had two crowns put in at one time.
One of the many experts at Dr Deepa's office is Dr J. Dr J explains exactly what he was doing during the procedure. He completely numbed the tooth area and I felt no pain. Even his temporary crown felt like the real thing. He inserted the real crowns yesterday and the bite is perfect. Both crowns fit like a glove.
Dr Deepa gets 5-stars, Dr J gets 5-stars, and all the other dentists and staff members that processed me all get 5-star ratings. I've read other low scoring reviews on yelp about Dr Deepa's practice; however, even the 1-star review said ". . . But the exam was excellent and I was well taken care of by the dentist".

They are scammers! Anyone on Medicaid knows you don’t pay for anything! They tried to charge for x-rays , they say u have cavities you don’t have and won’t show you the X-ray to prove it! They stated to my oldest daughter that she had 8 cavities the insurance covered 4 and out of pocket was $250+. Went to another dentist and they only showed my daughter 1. I wouldn’t recommend them and I’ve only seen Dr.
Deepa once, every other time I took my youngest daughter it was a different doctor saying different things! I’ve reported them to MD. Healthy Smiles, I don’t see how they stay open lying and scamming people out of their money!
