Came in for a cleaning a few months back and was advised I needed fillings on my bottom teeth. Got my estimate and scheduled the fillings for the next month later. When I came in for the said filling, they started numbing a different area of my mouth. I asked them if they would also be numbing my bottom teeth since that’s where the fillings were supposed to go. The dentist said they were filling two cavities on the top of my teeth which was news to me.

I was extremely confused since this was never discussed. They then gave me a separate estimate for my bottom teeth which was double the price I paid today. I felt like I was getting the old bait and switch. They filled my two “cavities” and then I advised I would wait on the others. The dentist and hygienist simply apologized but that was it.

When I was checking out I asked for an itemized list of what else I need to get done, and that sheet had a whole different price on it from what was presented in the chair. When I asked the front desk for clarification she seemed annoyed. The office seemed very unorganized and quickly made me lose trust in going there moving forward. Sadly, I am going to look for a new dentist.

Got my wisdom teeth removed Dr. Charlie was very gentle. They topically numb the area before injecting you to numb and ensure you cannot feel anything besides pressure. During the procedure he was very communicative and empathetic ensuring I was okay. This level of care is one you do not see often considering they routinely perform extractions.

Overall had 0 discomfort or pain during and now starting the recovery process. Overall, recommending this place to people I know that like me has been procrastinating. Only regret is not doing this sooner.

Loved my experience at Smiles Aurora! The office is not only gorgeous but all of the staff are super friendly & very informed. The doctor was also pleasant & professional. An additional benefit of this dental practice is that they also remove wisdom teeth.

You can tell he takes real pride in what he does, and the results speak for themselves.

A special shout out to Mayra, whose customer service is absolutely top notch. From the first phone call to every in-person visit, she made the entire process smooth, welcoming, and stress-free. Her warmth and efficiency set the tone for the whole office. Even though I live in Chicago, I gladly make the drive out to Aurora for my appointments—and it’s 100% worth it. Highly recommend!
