Extremely Disappointing Experience at Sage Dental. I scheduled an appointment for a routine exam, X-rays, and cleaning. However, when my husband arrived, the dentist performed the exam and X-rays, but didn't do the routine cleaning as expected. Instead, they recommended a deep cleaning, which seemed unnecessary given our regular dental visits.

The estimated cost for this deep cleaning was staggering - over $7,000! We were shocked and felt misled about the services provided. We'd advise others to carefully review their treatment plans, ask questions before proceeding, and get a clear understanding of the costs involved. This experience has left us questioning the clinic's priorities and transparency. "

I visited this Sage Dental location for a workers compensation claim. The front desk staff, assistants, and X-ray technician were all kind and professional. Then Dr. Sandoval walked in — and everything changed. He came in, told me to open my mouth, glanced briefly, said “Crown number 12” to the assistant, and was about to walk out without saying a single word to me. It felt like he thought I didn’t deserve an explanation — or maybe assumed I wouldn’t understand one.

As he was leaving, I stopped him and asked if I could ask a few questions. He seemed visibly annoyed. When I asked whether the crown was the only option and what the procedure involved, he refused to explain. Instead, he said, “Go do your worker’s comp claim somewhere else,” and added, “You are dismissed,” before walking out. I would not recommend Dr. Sandoval to anyone.

His unprofessional attitude and dismissive behavior were shocking and completely unacceptable. This was a workers comp visit, may be a second class type of patients for Mr Sandoval — but I also have excellent private dental insurance and could have easily become a long-term patient. I later went to another Sage Dental location where the dentist respectfully and kindly explained the entire process.

Great dentistry! I accompanied my aunt to her last two visits & I am so happy & grateful to have seen how they treated her. The place is very clean, spacious, and organized. They have several rooms with a comfortable setup. They speak both English and Spanish well & explain every single thing they plan to do or the options you have. They are very understanding & do not push you to do anything you don’t want to.

They treated my aunt so nicely that she felt less anxious her second visit. The woman that helped her was so kind and left a wonderful impression on my aunt. The dentist is very kind as well and friendly. I would definitely recommend this Sage Dental location and would come here myself!
