At a previous dentist, I had work done (cavity fill) on a molar. The result was extreme pain for months. It finally calmed down to just a very sensitive area any time food or liquid came in contact. I came to Pound and Pound years after and that same area cracked so they took out the old filling and did their magic.

Dr. Pound explained that I’d have some cold sensitivity because of the type of work performed for at least a few weeks. Not only was there no pain afterwards, there was actually less cold/overall sensitivity than there was for the years leading up to that day (it was almost nil and is now completely pain/sensitivity free after a couple months). On my first visit for just a normal cleaning, the hygienist found cement that has been left over from a permanent retainer on the inside of my lower teeth.

I’ve had at least 20 cleanings at other dentists since that time and no one has noticed/bothered to remove it. The staff are very personable, make you feel comfortable and it has been all around the best experience I’ve had at any dentist. I HIGHLY recommend coming to Pound and Pound if you are looking for a new dentist or unhappy with your current one.

I’ve been a patient here now for a good amount of years. The staff are always very nice. Dr. Nick and Dr. Nathan have helped me out a few times. The prices are fair and they work with some insurances. Their early morning hours are a plus for me. I have recommended this office to many of my friends and family.

I was doing to this dentist since I was little, about two years ago I was told by Dr that I have not one or two but SEVEN cavities which I found weird since I have never had a single one before that. Shortly after I made an appointment to get 2 filled and it was $160 with my insurance (not horrible but still pricy). They refused to see me until the outstanding balance was paid (I understood but still couldn’t afford it at the time). I ended up moving out of town and went to a different dentist today 10/2024 and the dr told me I have 0 cavities or decay on any of my teeth and other than having slight gingivitis he’s unsure why I was told there were seven cavities as he didn’t see any issues in my mouth at all.

Now I’m almost $200 in collections and when I called the receptionist told me that “they could’ve just seen decay” so now I’m left wondering if I ever even needed the original fillings I got. Office is beautiful but unfortunately I will never be returning.
