Staff were great but the dentist wasn’t patient with my son (6yrs old) he was scared getting an emergency tooth extraction and we were told we couldn’t be serviced without even trying a second attempt. Came a long distance for them to do absolutely nothing.

My experience at the front desk was completely unacceptable. The receptionist was rude, dismissive, and clearly uninterested in helping. When I asked a question, she responded with attitude and acted as if I was a nuisance. What’s worse, she began speaking about me in Spanish to her coworkers, assuming I wouldn’t understand. When I called her out, she denied it and then had the audacity to call me “stupid.

” It was clear she made assumptions based on my race, which is not only offensive but entirely unprofessional especially coming from someone who should know better. This kind of behavior has no place in any professional setting and needs to be addressed immediately. Management needs to take this seriously.

Allow me to share my experience. While the office’s aesthetic may not reflect a high-end, luxury practice, it is clean, functional, and welcoming enough for comfort. My first impression was shaped by a digital check-in with a receptionist via screen. While this modern approach may suit some, I personally prefer traditional face-to-face interaction. Additionally, despite clearly communicating in English, I was repeatedly addressed in Spanish, which felt slightly dismissive of my preference. That said, the check-in process itself was smooth and efficient. The manager was consistently visible and involved—an impressive display of leadership.

She was warm, attentive, and professional, setting a positive tone for the visit. The entire staff maintained a calm and soft-spoken demeanor, creating a reassuring environment. Dr. Maurillo exceeded expectations. His bedside manner was exemplary—kind, respectful, and thoroughly professional. He explained all recommendations in great detail, using visual aids that truly helped me understand the treatment plan, which I appreciated greatly as a visual learner. Perhaps the most noteworthy aspect was the minimal wait time.

I was seen almost immediately, which is rare and deeply appreciated. While the office may not boast a five-star appearance, the service, care, and attention to detail provided by Dr. Maurillo and his team more than compensate. As a parent, I left feeling heard, respected, and confident in the care my child would receive.
