Our experienced dental professionals are dedicated to providing you with the highest quality care.
New Dimensions Dentistry lives up to its name—they’re redefining what dental care can be. My wife and I switched here 2 years ago, and the difference is night and day. Dr. Hayes uses cutting-edge tech, like digital scans instead of goopy molds, which made my crown fitting a breeze. The office feels like a modern wellness space with soft lighting and calming music, easing my long-time dental anxiety.
Their team is attentive—they remembered my wife’s preference for mint-free products and adjusted accordingly. From routine cleanings to my recent implant, every procedure was painless and efficient. They offer flexible hours, including early mornings, and are transparent about costs. A practice that blends innovation with genuine care—we’re never going back to our old dentist.

Had to schulde for a root canal, scheduled for 12pm arrived at 1155am signed in. No hi hello or your all checked in. Came with snacks and drinks because we knew there would be a wait. 1:10pm called my daughter back. Daughter text me at 206pm said they gave her numbing shot and laughing gas for a few mins then everyone left room. 230 still no one back in room. Daughter had to use restroom so I told her just to get up and go and if she saw a nurse or anyone in hall to just let them know she needed to go to bathroom. 3pm no one has been back in daughters room. 3:10pm weve been at dentist now for over 3 hours, and daughter has been back in room for two hours. I go up to counter and ask when they were starting my daughter's root canal that she has been back there for two hours. Lady states that a root canal takes a while. I responded with he hasn't even started working on her, she text me and all that has been done is a numbing shot at 206pm. She said she'd go find out. Within two mins my daughter text me said dentist was in her room. Two mins later nurse comes and gets me and dentist tells me my daughter is crying and saying it hurts so he isn't doing her root canal and he's referring us out.
He said she's so numb she will be numb til 8pm he said you can yell at me and not the staff. I said first of all no one yelled at anyone I simply asked when my daughter's root canal was going to be started because she's been back there sitting alone for two hours. I said I'm aware wait times are long here but two hours sitting in a room is a little ridiculous. I asked to see my daughter and dentist said that's fine but I'm still not doing the root canal. I went and checked in my daughter, they were putting in a temporary filling. I went back out front my daughter came out about five mins later. Ladies at the desk said dentist wanted to let you know" he wasn't back there playing poker ". I said I never said he was i simply asked you all when she was going to be started on because we had been here over three hours and she sat back there alone for two hours . Nurse said he numbed her several times. I said no he came in once at 206 and numbed her, nurse said no she probably didn't feel it since she was numb already. Let me remind you my daughter is 12. I turned and asked her, how many times did the doctor come in and numb you she said one time and then gave me a little laughing gas then left room. I said so he didn't numb her as much as you and him are saying. My daughter said when he came back in room after 310 he just started working in her mouth and she started to cry and said it hurt. If you only numbed her once and gave her a few mins of laughing gas over an hour ago I'm sure it was starting to wear off and she did feel it and it hurt.
The nurse then stated if a child cries or says something hurts the dentist won't work on them. . . He always refers them out to be sedated. Are you kidding me? What child isnt going to be nervous or a little upset. I then stated that when scheduling the root canal appt I should have been made aware that if a child is upset or in pain that she would be referred out so which option did I want to choose. That would save them and the patient a lot of time if made aware. My opinion is the dentist was so far behind with over booking of patients that he was putting my daughter off til the end of the day when all other patients were done. Which if that was the case I would have had no problem making my appt for the last one of the day if I had been told. It was the day before Thanksgiving and the waiting room was still packed full at 310pm when it says they close at 3. Very unprofessional office and staff. Wouldn't recommend anyone to this place. Oh and the topper on the cake is the place he referred us to doesn't do sedation unless you meet a certain criteria, which my daughter didn't meet, and the lady said they work with the dentist who referred us and said he should have known that when referring us.

I strongly advise against seeking services from this dentist. While it is acknowledged that the area is underserved in terms of competent dental care, particularly for individuals with medical assistance, the eagerness and self-proclaimed proficiency in all dental sub-specialties exhibited by this dentist may mask significant risks to patient safety. For one example, I am currently preparing to schedule surgery after excessive bone loss with gum exposure presented following my extraction. This practice can be likened to a "dental-themed chop shop," as it appears to offer a wide range of procedures, often on the same day, including extractions, root canals, treatment of periodontal disease, and implants.
Moreover, the office's website prominently features the dentist's lengthy resume, which indicates a history of frequent job changes. He positions himself as a well-respected member of the dental community at the University of Pittsburgh due to his perceived exemplary performance. However, reports from current college students suggest a contrary reputation. They have indicated that he has been referenced negatively in lectures.
Specifically, regarding an incident where he utilized paper clips purchased from an office supply store regularly as inadequate substitutes for proper dental hardware. ***This review has been significantly shortened to fit within the limits of this platform. However, you can find my full review of this business, along with links to historical news coverage of the “paper clip period,” by viewing the attached images.
