Dr. Tamar Shrikian is a highly qualified dentistry practitioner who earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Pittsburgh Dental School. She is currently associated with My Community Dental Centers (MCDC), a network of dental clinics dedicated to providing comprehensive oral healthcare services across Michigan. Dr. Shrikian has a strong belief in treating others with the same care and respect she would expect for herself. Her areas of special interest within dentistry include Special Needs Dentistry, Emergency Dentistry, and Restorative Dentistry, showcasing her commitment to serving diverse patient needs. She has been recognized for her contributions to the field, including being awarded 2nd Place honors in the 2016 Michigan Dental Association Annual Session Poster Presentation. Beyond her clinical practice, Dr. Shrikian is actively involved in organized dentistry. She maintains memberships with prestigious organizations such as the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Michigan Dental Association, and Special Care Dental Association. She also serves on the MDA Board of Trustees, demonstrating her dedication to advocating for the dental profession and ensuring quality patient care. Dr. Shrikian has previously worked in Charlotte, MI, and currently practices at My Community Dental Centers in Kentwood. MCDC aims to provide accessible and high-quality Dental Care for all ages, offering services ranging from preventive care, such as cleanings and oral exams, to restorative treatments like cavity fillings, periodontal treatment, tooth removal, root canals, bridges, crowns, and dentures. They also offer emergency dental care and cosmetic dentistry.
