GREAT with kiddos. ! My boy had to have two front teeth pulled and the petite black female dentist and her hygienist did SUCH an incredible job making my boy comfortable. ! He’s only six so it could have been such a hassling experience, but the women who took care of him did such a great job comforting us both. ! (I was a wreck watching my baby cry.

!) They are also great at adult extractions as well, I’ve had 3 teeth pulled here and my last one even shattered some, but the dentist did a great job making sure everything was fine. ! I’ll go back to this office every time. !

I had to get three teeth pulled and hadn’t been to the dentist in at least 10 years because of anxiety. Not only was my dentist a woman (something I’d never had) but they made me so comfortable, did not judge me for being scared, and walked me through the whole thing. My experience at My Community Dental Center was excellent from start to finish. I didn’t have a primary dentist due to insurance issues and suddenly began experiencing wisdom tooth pain. I called every dental office within a 50-mile radius, but each one turned me away. Finally, I contacted My Community Dental Center’s emergency line. They instructed me to fill out a new patient form and walk in the next day. However, since the online form takes a few days to process, I wasn’t yet in their system when I arrived. This is where things really stood out — the front desk staff went above and beyond. One of them gave me a number to call for immediate registration and encouraged me to call back as soon as I was in their system so they could try to fit me in, despite being booked out for months.

As soon as I completed registration over the phone, I called the office back. They remembered me and — thanks to a last-minute cancellation — offered me an appointment that very same day. I felt incredibly lucky. While waiting to see the dentist, I overheard the front desk staff working with other patients and was genuinely impressed. They were strong advocates, clearly explaining insurance details and offering thoughtful, patient-focused recommendations. When I saw the dentist, she was kind, professional, and efficient. She took X-rays right away and gave me a referral to an oral surgeon, complete with a list of options. She also made sure I knew to ask, “Are you participating in my insurance?” to confirm each provider was in-network.

To my surprise, they also offered to clean my teeth during the same visit, without any pressure to agree to optional treatments. Everything was explained clearly, including what procedures were being done and what my insurance covered. Their recommendations felt personalized and honest. I’m truly grateful for the level of care, empathy, and professionalism I received at My Community Dental Center. I highly recommend them and will absolutely be returning for regular cleanings.
