He does unnecessary root canals which all go bad in time causing more pain, money and having teeth pulled out. We should have sued him years ago....beware, he us out to make money and does not care about your future and tge health of your teeth. Did it to several family members and friends.

Dr Mollohan is great. He been teaching longer than most dentists have working. He knows all current procedures, and many "Old School". I've been seeing him and his staff for over 30 years. Kind, to the point, and good!

The best experience I have ever had at a dentist office. A great family environment. They made me feel very comfortable as a person, not just another patient. This is my new place!

Very upset with this place. Deb is nothing short of snobby & rude. I needed a periodontist; my dentist would handle all other care; made this clear at the start. Google & Deb said Dr Mollohan was a periodontist - heads up, he's NOT. He started the appt with a scare tactic, showing me pictures of the worst possible outcomes of periodontal disease. My mouth was sore for days after his exam. I made it clear during that appointment that I was a single parent with limited income & was currently w/o a vehicle. I ask him to work with me on a care plan using carecredit, insurance & out of pocket. Instead, he gives me a plan for thousands of dollars & when I complain I am shamed for not having the money. They quote me for root scaling. My dental co-pay is $79 per quadrant. They quote me $360 per quadrant!! They get paid to push Arestin, a shot to help maintain the perio disease. I look the stuff up, it barely has a 27% improvement rate. But they swear I must get these shots and won’t take no.
They also tell me to gargle betadyne - I ask my pharmacist about it and he was horrified & said it hasnt been used in decades for mouth wash bc there are better, safer, & more effective options out there, it IS NOT SAFE to gargle. I asked in advance what my appt fee will be 3x before appt & the day of & they assure me $73 & there are no other charges. Then I get a bill for $130 bc they decided to do bitewings but never told me there was a fee. So then I have to ask them to let me split the bill in 2, I get paid 2x per month so it would take me one month to pay it. They get the first check, but before I even get paid the 2nd time, I am getting letters demanding payment. My dentist calls me bc I am due for a regular cleaning. But before the cleaning, he needs to see the x-rays & the notes so he can update my care plan. I call Deb & of course, attitude. I tell her I need to reschedule my root scaling appt that I felt sort of bullied into bc Christmas is 2 mon away & as a single parent with 4 siblings & nieces & nephews, the finances would be tight. She gives me attitude “we don't recommend that”. I explain yet again that I am trying to do my best to save money but with everything going on I just can't afford it right now & she SCOFFS at me. So I ask for my records with them to be sent to my dentist & she says "oh we are your dentist now, are you leaving us?". I explained, no, I told you at the start that I just needed a periodontist & that my dentist would provide all other care & that's when she hits me with - "oh well Dr Mollohan is not a periodontist, hes a general dentist". I am just so fed up at this pt that I ask her to send my records & I would find another actual periodontist to work with.
She gives more attitude, "well we have a balance with you so we arent going to release your records until that is paid". I tell her, "ok, I get paid in a few days & I will mail that check. What do you need from me to send the records". She says I need to sign a form. So I ask her to email it to me, since most dental offices, if not all, have email addresses or online forms to fill out. She tells me they "don't have an email address" & demands that I come in to sign the form. I am so mad at this point & I explain to her AGAIN that I do not have a car & I don't want to pay $30 for an uber just to sign a form. Ultimately I had to ask her to mail it to me, which it takes her 2 weeks to do. Also turns out, they do have email. We will see if they give my dentist a hard time to get those records. Personally, I feel Mollohan is outdated and shouldn’t still be in the game, and his wife should NOT be doing ANYTHING with the public. Don’t waste your time here, there’s better out there.
