My experience was HORRIBLE. The dentist poked my gums with a sharp tool that made them bleed, then proceeded to tell me it’s bleeding because I don’t floss enough, and that’s also the reason why I have pain, because I don’t floss 😹 after telling him repeatedly that I DO floss, multiple times a day, he pointed at my x rays and said “you have many fillings, thats because you don’t clean your teeth enough”!!! I wanted to laugh on his face hahah safe to say I will NEVER come back, nor recommend this place.
He was super dismissive and said if I have pain again to come back, and then I guess pay another $60 to get my teeth looked at for 5 minutes.

My mother of 63 went in today to get a root extracted that was left from her tooth falling out and when she went in today they didn't ask my mom any questions, they didn't look at her chart and they treated her as if she wasn't welcome in. She goes in, they sit her down, my mom has the loose tooth with her as evidence so they can see and she asked if she could put the tooth on the dentist plate that is their for the patients convenience and they told her "no, you can hold it"and the assistant nurse gave her a tissue making her hold the tooth! Then, my mother is always on the preventative side of things and before any procedure she lets the doctors know that she has hypertension and is taking her hypertension medicine and also lets the doctor know that around 30 years ago she had a tooth extracted and the common anesthesia that was given to her made her gave her an allergic reaction. Usually, all of the dentists she has visited know exactly what to give her so nothing goes wrong, not this dentist! They started telling her that they couldn't proceed with the extraction due to them not knowing what anesthesia to give her. They said that they needed to know the name of the anesthesia first to then figure out how they would help her. While all of this is happening, at no time at all did the actual doctor ever come out to speak face to face with my mother. She would send her assistant nurses to deal with the situation. After a few minutes my mom wanted to see if she could speak with the doctor and she never came out! She sent her "best nurse" to talk with my mom and told her that the doctor was on lunch which is why she didn't deal with the situation. With no other choice, my mom spoke with the nurse and this nurse told her that if she wanted to continue with the procedure they could give her the anesthesia given to pregnant women to avoid getting her heart rate up and my mother immediately made the decision to avoid further procedure. I always wonder what kind of prevention and safety these people offer their patients as they clearly couldn't figure out what to do with my mom for an extraction! My mom was technically putting her life on the line with these people as they couldn't take care of her the way they were supposed to. Overall this is not the place to get your tooth extractions and dental operations done unless you want to end your life with them, especially those with underlying conditions like hypertension among other conditions.
They did not demonstrate knowledgeable service and clearly have no idea what they are doing. It seems as though they are only fit to do routine cleanings. Don't waste your time here people, They are a low quality dentist. UPDATE: This experience happened many years ago and now present day, I have quit going to them for routine cleanings. I missed ONE appointment, and I get put on a call block list. At first I thought they had closed this location. I had to call their NH location and the receptionist there stated that they have not closed the Somerville location. I had to use my son's phone to call these people because they blocked my number. After speaking to the receptionist at this location, he said that if I miss an appointment and didn't call back for some time that my number would automatically be put on a call block list. I asked him if there was anyway to get me off the list since I was eager to get routine cleanings done for my son and I and he said he would talk to the doctor and call back.
Needless to say that we never got a call back. I am just astonished with the level of service these people are offering. I was a returning patient and never had a problem with them. I received many routine cleanings and even had one of my wisdom teeth extracted with no problem. My son had a couple of fillings done. For someone who has been using them for some time, this isn't the level of quality service I should be getting. To the team managing service here, I DON'T WANT YOUR HELP AND IM UNINTERESTED IN GOING BACK. You can keep me on the call block list. Horrible horrible service.

First time visiting the Nashua center twice this year and had a very professional and positive experience. My child needed 2 root canals and everyone, from the receptionist, to the doctor, were friendly and great to deal with. I'm very happy we came to Lang's!

I WILL START BY SAYING THAT IF I COULD I WOULD LEAVE A 0 star REVIEW. I had a root canal to get done here but first I would have to remove my wisdom tooth. So I did, went there and removed my wisdom. Went back to start the root canal. After a while I started to get a discomfort where the tooth was removed from. I looked in the mirror and I saw a piece of tooth coming out. I wish I could upload pictures here. I removed the remaining fragments my self. I called the office and all they said was that I was right, that there was a tooth left in there.
Long story short, I asked for a discount on my case ( witch was costing me $2900) since they did half of the job by only taking half of the tooth out and they told me they could give $50 dollars as discount. I never got an apology from Dr Lang. I had to request to talk to her because the hole time I talked to someone else. The disrespect that they had towards the situation is unbelievable. I have been their patient for more than 15 years, they do not and will not consider you. But I can assure you I will never be going back there. Terrible service and terrible dentist. I am adding to the review in response to what they wrote bellow. Yes the Dr did come to talked to be because I requested when I was about to leave.
While I was talking the the Assistent I saw her standing over on the corner just listening. The contract did not state that. I read all of it. And if you do come up with one, I’ll be sure that you edited. As per our conversation, I do understand that fragments can be left behind. But the disrespect for not apologizing, the disrespect of only looking at my X-ray AFTER I mentioned about the incident. That’s what’s counting. I posted by review in other platforms and the multiple bad reviews came along.
