I took my older two kids to a different Orthodontist and that experience was fine. But when it was time to put Braces on my youngest, I was referred by a friend to Dr. Kaplin - what a great referral. First, this practice as a business, is top notch. They have a really efficient office system, we've never waited for more than a minute or two and the employees are all very professional.

Dr. Kaplan is really good with the kids and takes time to explain treatment alternatives. We've been going to him for a year and are very happy with the result.

Today, Dr. kaplin was rude and snappy to us during our visit. He was pleasant at our first consultation visit. He explained thoroughly our options and what we could do for my daughter’s Braces. He did scans and we decided to wait for the 2 upper teeth to fall out.

But now Dr. Kaplin is saying we need to extract all 4 bottom baby teeth, 2 upper baby teeth and 2 upper adult teeth all at once! Then he can start the braces for my daughter. When we mentioned that that was not what we discussed previously, his tone changed and started becoming rude and snappy and seemed annoyed by us. “I don’t think we are on the same page here. I’m hearing a lot about baby teeth but I’m not concerned about that”

Dr. Kaplin and the entire staff at the practice are wonderful. Dr. Kaplin and all technicians have an outstanding bed side manner and my daughters are treated with the utmost respect and care. Dr. Kaplin is very thorough and takes the time needed to go over possible treatment plans and address any questions we have.
