Kalamazoo Pediatric dentistry is a game-changer for parents of little ones! My 3-year-old used to scream at the mention of "dentist," but after just two visits here, she runs in excited to see Dr. Patel. The office is a kid’s dream—bright murals, a play area with toys, and even TVs on the ceilings showing cartoons during cleanings. Dr.

Patel has a magical way with kids, using simple terms like "tooth tickles" instead of "scraping" and letting her hold a tiny mirror to "help check. " The hygienists are patient, never rush, and send us home with fun brushing charts. They’re great at explaining what to expect, and the staff remembers her by name. Finally, a pediatric dental office that turns fear into joy—we’re hooked!

I have been taking my child here for 2 years now and love it! First the facility is the cutest. The atmosphere is great, the staff is polite and knowledgeable and all treatments done have been excellent. I highly recomment.

Dr. Van is amazing. He was my daughters dentist for 7 years and she loved him and the hygienist there. They were always so great with her, patient, kind, and informative.

They are really great with kids with different needs as well and my daughter had a lot of anxiety when she first started seeing the dentist, but the staff and Dr. Van quickly helped her ease her fears and she is no longer afraid to go to the dentist. I’m sorry we have to leave. My daughter has graduated out of their program, or we would have stayed!

At first our experience was very pleasant. However I feel like we got a fast one pulled on us. My 6 year old needed 2 fillings. He was very anxious and they handled that well. Toward the very end of the last filling he began to become overwhelmed and started crying.

The dentist and assistant finished up and I was able to get him calmed down. Then, as we were leaving, the office told us that they were not able to finish and he will have to go to the hospital to be put under and they asked for a $500 deposit. Excuse me? You didn’t finish? You didn’t even give me a chance to calm him down so we could finish? You didn’t tell us in the exam room that you weren’t able to finish? Now you want $500??? That is not right. Give him 5 minutes to calm down and then finish. I feel like they found the first excuse they could to end the procedure and require us to pay more money to be put under.

Staff was nice and office was clean but now the operation does not seem honest. We will not be going back.
