To start off, I have severe dental anxiety and had extensive work done on my teeth here, 1 root canal, two crowns and probably 10+ teeth needing fillings all done under sedation by Dr Ari & Dr D. I have to this day never truly had an issue with any of the work they have done in that regard. My crowns have not fallen out or had any issues. Following these procedures i decided to keep coming back to get my cleanings there because I thought it was the best course of action considering they essentially worked on my whole mouth. The first year or two after my treatments I found no problems loved some of the hygienists I had in the beginning and although my main dentist Dr D didn’t really check my mouth much I was fine with the treatment and I had no issues and I liked him as my dentist. He was real, could come off kind of mean but to be honest sometimes the bluntness is better for me. No sugar coating. Then persistent issues with more than one of the hygienists began.

I guess they were looking for more $$ to put a young person in debt and trying to find something wrong or create an issue. To start, I have never experienced so much (if any) pain during a cleaning before coming here. I have never had to get a second opinion before because one of their other dentists thought I had a cavity in a tooth I had JUST had filled the month or so prior THERE only for Dr Ari to reassure there was no actual issue. I have never before been told before that my teeth are bleeding so bad from a routine cleaning she couldn’t finish and that I need to come back, and on top of that, that I have the beginnings gum disease (she did not count the gaps and made me have the worst week until I could see another dentist) and needed this over a thousand dollar preventative treatment. I have always been told I have decent if not great home care ( by people who have worked here and elsewhere) and got a second opinion by a separate dentists office to be told my gum health is fine. Even after this I came back and just asked for a different hygienist thinking that was just a her issue. Nope. The next hygienist I had was a lovely older lady who I have no issues with.

I come back 6 months later to a different hygienist working with me and she was putting me in so much pain I made her stop, I was crying and just wanted to leave. Mind you yes, I have severe dental anxiety issues I’ve been working on for years. But I have NEVER had an issue with a cleaning in my entire life. Long story short, decent/good dentist work. Be SUPER wary of being sold things you do not need, get second opinions. There are a few very lovely and kind hygienists and some really bad ones that have made me not want to come back.

This is one of the best put together dental offices I have ever been around. The father who I do believe started this business has assembled a "Dream Team" of employees . The duo of father and son ,makes all patients feel like they are family and treated equally well. Whatever problems that you have with your teeth, they are the pros in the know, that you want taking care of you.

I have to share my experience with Gitlin Dental. The office is state of the art and they have their own lab. My amazing hygienist is Navvi. I have sensitive teeth and my cleaning was done with care and it was painless.

She does a phenomenal job! Dr. Ari Gitlin literally gave me a new smile! He crafted my veneers to also straighten my teeth! He is meticulous! My teeth look great and I get compliments all the time! His assistant, Lucky, literally held my hand and took such good care of me. They have a wonderful team.

Where do I start? Absolutely incredible team. They all are so caring, professional and just awesome. From my first visit to my most recent they all were understanding of my needs, made me feel calm and explained the entire process so there was no surprises. They have given me my self confidence back, and an incredible smile.
