This is a review for dental clinics near Sparta Hwy, Eatonton, Putnam County, Georgia:

What a horrible experience!!! I'm convinced any/all positive reviews came from family. Called the office as a new patient. Explained what insurance I had and that my front tooth filling came out the evening before. I asked the cost to do a same day filling/X-ray as a new patient. The receptionist was extremely confused. Stated she would have to call me back. After waiting over an hour for a call, I phoned the office( first problem) the receptionist coincidentally was just about to call me. She explained that I could come in right away for the filling/X-ray. I explained that I was driving over 1.5 hours, and asked for any idea of the cost I was looking at. She stated that my insurance would cover the X-ray but I'd need to pay out of pay cost in full before my X-ray was done. I drove 90 minutes arrived in the completely empty parking lot- enter the office and was greeted by some many scent it was unbearable. Worse then any perfume store I've been in. Waited over ten minutes to be greeted. The receptionist came out and gave off a creepy vibe. I completed paperwork and waited an additional 18 minutes to be called back. Once I got to the back I was told to goggle prepoured mouth wash😯. After goggle I was seated she explained that she was going to take an X-ray of the tooth that I wanted fixed. She took the X-ray and I was told to hang out for the dentist. I waited an additional 10 minutes. The dentist arrived with a meh attitude. She asked my problem area I pointed out where and she told me I had a few small cavities elsewhere. When I asked where specifically she seemed annoyed and handed me a mirror. Once I asked the cost per cavity, she stated it would be anywhere from 150$-250 per cavity( which was apparently a discount rate based on my insurance). WHY couldn't the receptionist tell me this via phone? I stated that I wanted to just get the original tooth that I came in for fixed and I'd worry about the rest at a later date. She stated that all patients have to get a cleaning before a filling. I said no problem. She stated I could make an appointment for the next day or two to get the cleaning..WHAT!! The purpose of my driving over 90 minutes was so I could get the filling..not drive the same distance at another time.. When I explained that I drove 90 minutes to get there she asked where I came from( what difference does that make) and said sorry. Emergency visit=same day service was only for extractions. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! I was then lead to check out with the same creepy receptionist who asked if the dentist did the filling...uhh NO. She said Wow, sorry and proceed to scare at me. The whole experience from beginning to end was bad which explains the completely empty parking lot in the middle of the afternoon. Wouldn't recommend to an enemy. My 16 year old daughter came in whole I was with the dentist to use the bathroom and said the receptionist creeped her out so bad she just went back to the car. Something is definitely off about this place. NEW PATIENTS BEWARE. I'm convinced they had me come in just to bill my insurance for X-rays...I'd give no stars if I could

I must say that I travel from the Atlanta Metropolitan area, to have my family and I dental service at Young Jones dental. The staff are very perfessional and my services are always performed with great care. I have always received exemplary services, that's why I will continue to travel the distance for great service . Keep doing what you do to make your patience happy.....Thanks!!!!
