They literally said “in this country you do x rays before you get a cleaning” to me. I had x rays. So 1. Money grab 2. Racist 3. Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

I had the best experience at Gables iSmile from start to finish! From the moment I walked in to schedule my initial consultation, I was greeted by such a friendly and welcoming staff. Everyone made me feel comfortable and at ease, which was a huge relief because I’ve had some terrible experiences at dentist offices in the past.
The team at Gables iSmile completely changed my perspective on dental visits, and I genuinely felt cared for throughout the entire process. I can’t recommend them enough—I’ll definitely be telling everyone I know about my positive experience!

My last review for this place was glowing, despite an unexpected 2. 5-hour cleaning that included impromptu mouth mapping, unsolicited braces suggestions (despite only slightly misaligned lower teeth and a perfect upper smile), and a heavy push toward whitening—even though all of my previous dentists have said my enamel naturally gives me very white teeth. Now, six months later at my second appointment, that five-star review drops to a two. They rescheduled my appointment just a week out—even though it had been booked for six months. Kind of annoying, but not a big deal. Things happen. I called 4–5 days before the new appointment to see if I could get in earlier that day (I had a 9:00 a. m. slot), and they said that was the earliest available. Again, not a huge issue, but I was concerned about sitting through another 2. 5-hour session with a critical meeting at 10:30 a. m.
that same day—for what should’ve been a routine cleaning. Over the phone, I explained that if they weren’t finished in time, I’d have to get up and leave, regardless of where we were in the process. They told me it was illegal to leave mid-session (which it’s not) and that they would refuse to let me go. I replied, “Are you going to tie me to the chair? I’m confused. ” Needless to say, the call got tense on both sides. Fast forward to the appointment: I arrived five minutes late because my client rescheduled our meeting an hour before my cleaning. They brought me back around 9:15. The dentist didn’t even say hello—just immediately started with the suction tool and a water flosser that made the worst noise imaginable. She jammed it into my gums repeatedly, and it felt unnecessarily rough. Then came the flossing: a rushed, careless effort where she snapped the floss into my gums and yanked it out without actually moving it between my teeth. My mouth started bleeding, and I don’t usually bleed easily because I floss semi-regularly. She barely brushed my teeth, and when she was done, she didn’t even say anything—a technician eventually walked by and said, “You can go now.
” The whole thing felt extremely passive-aggressive, even though I had come in polite and professional. Start to finish, it took 17 minutes—excluding wait time and my five-minute tardiness. Am I glad I was done by 10:00 a. m. ? Yes. Was the experience passive-aggressive? Absolutely. Did my teeth get cleaned? Technically, yes. Will I go back? Probably not. Will I recommend them? Definitely not. Two stars—only because the equipment is top-notch. Otherwise, it’d be one.
