I had such a wonderful experience with Afrouz, my dental hygienist! She was absolutely amazing so knowledgeable, gentle, and professional. She took great care of my teeth and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire appointment. Afrouz answered all of my questions with patience and kindness, and even took the time to educate me on how to floss properly and take better care of my oral health.

I left feeling informed, cared for, and confident about my dental routine. Thank you, Afrouz, for your excellent care I truly appreciate you!

As a new patient, I expected a smooth and respectful experience—but unfortunately, I received the opposite. My 8 a. m. appointment was swapped with my husband’s 10 a. m. slot due to me not completing paperwork ahead of time, which I understood. But I finished the paperwork before he was even called back, and yet I continued to wait as multiple patients who arrived after me were seen first. I calmly asked the African-American front desk staff member why I hadn’t been called yet.

Later, I was shocked to learn that the Hispanic front desk staff member had gone to the back and told my husband that I had been “aggressive. ” That kind of gossip is not only unprofessional—it’s unethical and inappropriate. If a staff member had a concern about my tone or conduct, they should have addressed it with me directly—not my spouse. When I was finally called back, the dental assistant who greeted me had a cold, passive-aggressive demeanor. She asked if I had anything to eat or drink and then walked off without further explanation. I was left confused and uncomfortable. Moments later, my husband came to find me, asking what had happened because staff had already spoken to him about my supposed "behavior. " That was the final straw.

I canceled my appointment and left without receiving any care. As a nurse in an ER, I deal with patients who ask questions about wait times and processes every day—it’s our job to communicate, not judge. The way I was treated at this office was disrespectful, unprofessional, and left me feeling humiliated and possibly even discriminated against. I do not recommend Fox Chase Dental to anyone seeking respectful or ethical dental care. No one deserves to be labeled, talked about behind their back, or made to feel unwelcome simply for asking a question.

Jakara was very friendly and welcoming. This was my first visit and I appreciated the prompt check in and I was also early and she willing to see if I could be seen sooner than my appointment. I was given an appointment next day which was very helpful because I had a bit of an emergency. Dr.

Burchfield is my current dentist. I would recommend checking out Foxchase Dental Group if your need of a new dentist.

Great office , they are thorough and walk you through everything prior to starting treatment. Jakara helped me with scheduling my appointment and made everything go smooth. Dr.Lee has helped me ease my dental anxiety and went as far as to play reggae music to ensure my visit went well. Book here for all your oral health needs.
