I called to schedule an orthodontic appointment and unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience with the receptionist. I couldn’t understand what she said, so I politely asked her to repeat herself—but her tone and attitude were incredibly rude and unprofessional. I was shocked by how nasty she was during a simple phone call.

I will be calling back to file a formal complaint. This kind of customer service is unacceptable.

Terrible experience. Tried to go in for a checkup, they barely look at my teeth and was not even that interested with my concern, but had the audacity to charge me almost $200. It's ridiculous. I booked my appointment in zocdoc telling me it should cover my insurance (I don't advice using the app, ZOC DOC and always read Google reviews), I wouldn't mind paying a co-pay, but for that amount and zero customer service, it's a total scam.

You can barely talk to them over the phone when you try to inquire about their service. I didn't tell them that this appointment was for a second opinion but already did my X-rays, out of nowhere telling me I had cavities and need additional work on top of my already concern, ridiculous. Hindsight is 20-20, should've done my research. Don't be like me, and do your research.

Update: This is just maddening, to those who unfortunately have to deal with these group of people, The day i popped for them to look at my teeth, they barely look at it and more of just took a glance, and now checking on my insurance, they have the audacity to file a $100+ for that glorfied glance and on top i had to pay $200+ out of pocket too. THIS CLINIC or PRACTICE IS A SCAM! STAY AWAY FROM THEM!

Quite honestly, I had a hard time rating this place, as we experienced a 5 star Doctor, and a 1 star financial administrator. Dr Reza Tahernia was beyond great, very personable, and when we discovered my mom cracked her tooth and needed an extraction, he comforted us and gave us the space she needed while she made a decision. My mom is visiting from out of state, so she would not be coming back here for any procedure (hopefully!) but Dr Tahernia was still very comforting and educational as we think about next steps. Instead though, as the Doctor made it clear that we give my mom her space for a moment as she processes the emotions with getting a visible tooth pulled, Abby, who I can only assume to be a financial administrator or receptionist of some kind, came in as my mom was crying, and within seconds was talking about implants and bone grafting. I didn’t know if maybe she didn’t hear that she is from out of state, so I informed her that she would be going home so she won’t be needed anything else here but the extraction, and Abby said “don’t think I’m trying to get any money out of you!”.

Until then, not ONCE did I mention the cost. But for her to come in during such an emotional time, CLEARLY with the intent to sell her on something, was uncalled for. She was trying to explain to my mom the need for bone grafting, even though she has had teeth pulled before and did not have it done then. I tried to explain that, and she became defensive about how bad she needs bone grafting, scaring her by saying it’s her “front tooth” (which it is visible but NOT a front tooth) and that an implant is the only choice, even after the dentist told us that is not true. Overall, my mom would give Dr Tahernia 5 stars, the procedure was as painless as possible for an extraction.

But Abby is completely out of place, walking into a room with a crying patient and telling her her “front tooth” needs more work done. Incorrect and uncalled for.
