Dr. Derek Ego-Osuala obtained his undergraduate education at the University of Maryland at College Park, earning Bachelor of Science degrees in Physiology and Neuroscience. He then attended the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery (BCDS), the world's first dental school, where he completed a three-year Endodontic Post Graduate program. Dr. Ego-Osuala successfully defended his thesis in 2010, receiving his certification in endodontics and a Master of Science (MS) degree in Oral Biology. He is also a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland BCDS, a specialist member of the American Association of Endodontists, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. Dr. Manila P. Joshi earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Baguio, Philippines, in 2002, graduating at the top of her class. After practicing as a General Dentist in Nepal for six years, she moved to the United States and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry in 2012, graduating among the top ten percent and being inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon national dental honor society. Dr. Joshi pursued her passion for Endodontics, completing her post-doctorate advanced specialty training at the University of Illinois-Chicago College of Dentistry. She is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Endodontists, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics.
