I needed 5-6 novocaine injections to get numb, and post root canal I experienced excruciating pain. I’m allergic to Ibuprofen and had to take acetaminophen extra strength which did not control the pain. I typically have a high pain tolerance. The entire left side of face and head throbbed in pain. Left jaw swollen. Called the office and they said that’s to be expected. It takes 2 weeks to completely heal. My post procedure instructions advised to call for uncontrollable pain and swelling. That was the receptionist who gave me medical advice. I was not allowed to speak to anyone with a medical background. That was a Friday, 2 days after root canal. It got worst over the weekend and I had to go to my medical doctor for pain control. Dr. Ego’s office is closed over the weekend. No emergency services. The office does not seem care after the procedure is done. This was not my first root canal but by far the worst experience ever. It’s now 5 days after and I’m still in serious pain.

Dr Ego was very good with my root canal, best I ever went to. I didn’t feel a thing the whole procedure. I am happy to recommend Dr Ego if you need it done.
