I moved to Dothan, Al. 4 months ago. That means finding all new doctors & Dentist. I called this morning cause I broke my tooth at the gum line and the root was exposed. They were nice enough to put me in at 3 o’clock. They took x-rays, then the Dentist came in and asked me what he can do for me?? BUT, with is seconds he was QUICK to start judging me.

. telling me “it looks like if you have any dentistry issues, you just have your teeth pulled“! Well, before I could explain HOW the other teeth got pulled in the past (2 crown broke off at the gum, teeth that had deep filling split down to the roots & other medical problems that have made my teeth weak and broke) I got upset, got out of the chair and left. If you want to be judged and be told that you don’t take care of your teeth he’s the one to go to!! What bad luck I have. . now have to spend the weekend in pain!! Worst dentist EVER!! Good luck others and WELCOME TO DOTHAN!!

Dr. Matthews and his staff is phenomenal! I have always had quite the anxiety going to the dentist (who ever looks forward to it?!), but today I had my first appointment at Dothan Dental and I have never felt more comfortable. The staff was welcoming, efficient, and made me feel like a valuable patient.

Highly recommend!! My dental hygienist, Amber, was so patient, understanding, and compassionate. I will be going out of my way to make sure I get to see Amber for my future appointments as well. 😊

I have been a patient for years. Called to inquire about getting a tooth pulled that has been causing extreme pain. I was told they do not do extractions. WHAT? Since when? I’ve had teeth pulled from Dr Matthew’s in the past. Receptionist gave me Oral Surgeon phone #.

I called and could not be seen until end of month. So I guess I have to continue being in pain and experiencing lack of sleep because of the pain. Website states they do emergency dental care, including extractions.

I love Dr. Matthews and his staff. My hygienist is great. I always feel like they are there for me and are great to help getting you in with a problem too.
