If I could give a 0 I would. I’ve reached out 3 times now to get my claimed fixed. You guys filed it wrong and my dental insurance has been denied for my cleaning visit. Absolutely unacceptable. Do not go here, they provide nothing in customer service.

I just left my appointment and am still in shock. I work in a school and made this appointment for a teeth cleaning on my day off. The hygienist was nice and I know she tried her best but the experience was awful. First she mispronounced all of my medications which was a bit concerning. After my scans she said I had such bad inflammation I’d need to come back for another “deep cleaning” a different day. I told her I was aware of my gums but I just wanted a deep cleaning. She said I’d need to sign a refusal form and her demeanor got noticeably cooler. The gum measurement was so painful she had to put numbing gel on my teeth (which I’ve never needed in the past).

All of that would have been fine if not for the remainder of the appointment. Right before the cleaning I was told I had to go to the front desk because my insurance was inactive. Whoever handles insurance was sitting on her laptop in the lobby, I would’ve appreciated the conversation take place in a private setting or my room (especially since a laptop isn’t stationary). She informed me that sometimes my insurance company says inactive when it isn’t and since I didn’t submit the insurance until right before the appointment it was essentially my fault. I’ve given my insurance card to number one doctors at the time of the appointment countless times and its never been an issue. Her attitude was beyond accusatory. I told her I was 45 minutes into my appointment and my insurance had never been an issue before. I asked what I was supposed to do and she said go wait in the room until she contacted insurance.

I asked how long that usually takes and she said a few hours. I responded that I couldn’t sit there for a few hours to which she responded “well I wouldn’t expect you to”. She glared me down in silence until I said I’d just leave. So now I’m walking home with a numb mouth feeling confused, frustrated, and like I wasted a day off for nothing. In summary: If you’re looking for good costumer service and professionalism this isn’t it.

I've been here a few times and always had a good experience but havent left any review. This time I really loved my Hygienist: Nena so I decided to write one to shout her out! she was SO sweet, SO understanding, broke things down in terms i understood, took extra time to help clean my teeth. i would definitely come back just for her.

in the future im going to call to schedule cleanings just with her. shes definitely an employee who will go above and beyond

While I still don't love going to the dentist, Dentologie has made the experience a little less painful, ha! The staff has always been super friendly, and I'm never waiting for more than 5 minutes to be seen, after checking in. Everyone has been incredibly friendly and helpful with all of my questions. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a new dentist!
