I’ve been a DentFirst patient for at least six years. At my primary location the atmosphere and environment have remained the same; warm, inviting, clean and aesthetically pleasing. I love the decor and that there is bottled water. Though my DMD changed, the quality and the service has remained the same; kind, consistent and thorough with a personal touch. That personal touch is everything.

My Hygienist has likewise, remained kind, consistent, thorough and personable. She is 🔥🔥🔥 and makes every visit a pleasure. The front desk staff has always shown kindness and remained professional.

I have been using DentFirst for over 25 years now and have never had one bad experience what so ever until today. Today I had one crown and one filling. As usual my Doctor was excellent, as was her work. When it comes to the level of quality in regard to their work it is nothing shy of exemplary. When I had my teeth cleaned about a month ago is when I discussed the crown and filling. When I left I was given an estimate of the work to be done as always. Given that I was getting a crown the estimate was higher then usual which of course is to be expected. Even with that their pricing has always been competitive. When the work was finished I went to pay my bill. The charge was what was quoted in the estimate.

I gave them my credit card as I always do, (this is where I have an issue), I was told that there would be an additional charge due to my using a credit card. It was a little over 2% and that would have been fine had I been given notice. I was charged an additional $40. There would have been no additional charge if I would have put it on my debit card which if given notice I could have made sure I had the funds or I would have brought cash which would have been fine. I have every intention of continuing going to DentFirst for my care it's just that $40. is a lot to pay when if given notice I would not have had to spend it. It was totally unexpected and as I said if I had known I could have had the cash. I am just real disappointed that I was not told and it cost me $40. I learned a lesson the hard way I guess. UPDATE 2/11/25: I was contacted first thing this morning.

They must have read my post and have reversed the credit card fee. They did let me know that their policy still stands and that's fine and absolutely understandable. It is not at all unusual. I have noticed more and more businesses are instituting the same policy. Next time it will not be a surprise. In the meantime crediting me the $40. was very nice of them and it is sincerely appreciated.
