I am afraid this a very predatory practice. I told them clearly, several times, I was only there for a cleaning, not an exam. But right after I was done with the cleaning, without giving me a moment to collect myself, the dentist showed up and looked at my teeth for 30 seconds, said everything was good and walked away. With that, they promptly billed me for an oral exam.
They also guilt patients into doing a slew of services, so you never know what you really need vs. what they are charging you to stay in business. Leaving two stars only for the dental techs who are awesome!

A+ Dentistry services!!! I've been a patient for over 18 years and highly recommend Dr. Deckard and his wonderful and friendly team. Tomas, my dental hygienist always takes great care in making me feel comfortable during my cleanings and services. He is kind, thoughtful, gentle yet thorough during any dental cleanings and procedures.

Justin Deckard is the best and most compassionate dentist I've ever been to. He's also just an extraordinarily kind person. He took an emergency appointment with me when I was in severe pain, which turned into a root canal on Thanksgiving Eve. I was in tears, but he calmed my nerves, numbed me into next week, and I felt nothing during the whole procedure. He called to check on me that night and made sure I had enough pain medication to get me through the next few days.
Since then I've seen him for crowns, fillings, and grinding issues, and hygienist Amy for my cleanings. He has never let me sit there in pain-just patiently waits for the novocaine to kick in. I recently moved out of state but I fly back for my appointments - he's that good. I will never go anywhere else.

The staff at DC Precision Dentistry is always professional and attentive. Dr. Decker is thorough and willing to explain procedures so I feel comfortable. I have received consistently high quality dental care here for decades and happily recommend them to anyone looking for a dental practice.
