What a great experience! The friendly tone began immediately with the receptionist, Christie. She was just so warm and welcoming. Then the dental hygienist, Terra, was just as pleasant, and she did a very thorough job! Then came Dr. Dickerson, and he took the time to make me feel welcome and confident with my new choice of dentistry offices.

And the place is simply beautiful! From the decor to the modern equipment, top of the line. I highly recommend Curtis Family Dentistry in Mooresville.

Would give zero stars if I could. I had a new patient appointment in January of 2024, which they incorrectly bill as out-of-network. I called them once a month when the paper bill was issued for pretty much the entire year reminding them that they billed my appointment incorrectly and needed to fix it. And every time they assured me they would. In November of 2024, I sent an email hoping to get some who actually cared enough about the practices patients to fix the issue. I thought I succeeded. They assured me it was, in fact, a billing issue due to changes in their accounting system, and that she would fix it for me. I had one more paper bill issued in December, which I was warned might happen, and then the paper bills stopped coming.

I thought the issue was fixed. Cut to July 2025, and I get an email from this practice about "my latest statement. " I opened the email, logged into the online portal, and there was that same incorrect bill. The same balance, just sitting there. Still waiting for them to resubmit the bill correctly. I called them immediately, during business hours, but still went to voicemail anyway. I left them a message detailing the issue complete with contact info. 3 days later - still no answer.

But I guess what do you expect from a practice that tried to pull a bait-and-switch on my husband. They told him he needed one service, and then when we got to the Troutman office for that appointment, the "office manager" tried to tell him that what he actually needed was a more thorough and more expensive version of that service. After pushing back on her unethical sales tactic, even the dentist that was there admitted that the "office manager" was wrong. And it's a damp shame too because the hygienists I had at the Mooresville location were fantastic. But, sadly, overshadowed by the shadiness of the rest of the practice. Maybe now you can finally be bothered to check your voicemail and respond to my call to let me know what the heck is going on with this stupid bill you've been "trying" to fix for almost a year and a half.

I’m new to Statesville NC and had to find a new dentist. I’m one of those high maintenance patients that have a lot of issues. I’m so happy to have found Curtis Dental. Alicia and Dr Chad really listened to me, provided comfort during my treatment and offered solutions without being too pushy. I’m thankful to have found them.
