Dr. Anthony Elger is a highly skilled and board-certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who is part of the established practice of Capodice, Efaw, Ocheltree & Elger, PLLC, often referred to as DCEOOMS. Located at 109 N Regency Dr, Bloomington, IL 61701, DCEOOMS has a long-standing history, originally founded in 1990. Dr. Elger's educational background is extensive, beginning with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry from Southern Illinois University. He then earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Southern Illinois in 2013. His post-doctoral training includes a general practice residency at Louisiana State University and an Oral and Maxillofacial internship at Cook County Hospital. He completed his Oral and Maxillofacial residency at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County in June 2019, where he trained in the latest surgical techniques. At DCEOOMS, Dr. Elger and his colleagues provide a wide range of oral and maxillofacial services. These include, but are not limited to, dental implant placement, wisdom teeth extractions, corrective Jaw surgery, treatment of facial trauma, and management of various oral pathologies.
