A few years ago, my daughter received her braces from Arrowhead Orthodontics. Besides having slightly crooked teeth, she also had a missing incisor. The plan was to create space for an implant that would be placed once all orthodontic work was complete and her jawbone had finished growing. We were assured that, as long as she wore her retainer regularly, there would be minimal risk of complications. Fast forward to the present, my daughter has now graduated from high school and is preparing for college. We recently relocated, and she visited a new surgeon to discuss the long-awaited implant.

To our dismay, the surgeon informed us there wasn't enough space for the implant. She would need braces again, a situation she desperately wanted to avoid as she embarks on her college journey. When we reached out to Arrowhead Orthodontics for assistance, they agreed to fix the problem but only if we drove hundreds of miles back to their location for each visit. They offered no refund, not even a partial one, merely stating, "It happens sometimes. " Therefore, if you're considering Arrowhead Orthodontics for braces, ensure you remain within driving distance until ALL dental work is completed. Otherwise, you may find yourself paying for braces TWICE, a frustrating outcome!! 8/2/2024 - Response to your reply on 8/1/2024 With the exception of your International Falls location, all of your office locations are with about 1 hour of each other.

I would not consider that "we do have many office locations for our distant patients" when they are all so close together. Regarding dental implant spacing can depend on various factors, blaming the patient for not consistently wearing their retainer, saying they chose the wrong dental implant provider, and not following timing of additional procedures is a very unprofessional statement, when none of these items are true and my daughter followed your instructions exactly as stated by your staff. Lastly, I already reached out to your office directly and was told you didn't do anything wrong and there is nothing you can do to help my daughter, unless I want to drive hundreds of miles per visit. It would be different if my daughter did not follow your instructions as stated, but that is just not the case. I am greatly disappointed in the follow up service I received.
