The most horrible office experience we have had... don't go here! Doesn't seem like anyone is ever even in the office? Customer service is terrible and fails to notify you if your insurance is "in-network". But hey they'll gladly take your money!

Annette Merlino is a shyster. She botches every thing she does. She also charges patients for work that is 100% covered by insurance.

Dr. Merlino and her staff are not only knowledgeable and professional, but are friendly, courteous, and caring toward each and every one of their patients. I have been going to Dr. Merlino for years for my dental care, and have never had a negative experience.
Any time I have had an urgent need, she always finds a way to fit me into her schedule as soon as possible (sometimes even the same day), and always provides gentle and professional treatment. In addition, she and her staff travel to developing countries several times a year and provide much-needed dental care and education to those less fortunate. If you live near the Delmont or Leechburg areas, Dr. Merlino should be your dentist!

Let me say that the dental work and care is great, however the billing department is horrible. I was told before multiple appointments that my insurance would cover most (if not all) of the appointments and work. I had a bunch of work done and every time I left I would check to see if I owed anything, every time they said no you are good to go. Come to find a few months later after leaving one of my appointments the lady tells me "you owe 2,000 on your account".
For whatever reason they decided that months later that my insurance did not cover whatever. And before my insurance is claimed to be bad, I had a full root canal at a different office and it was fully insured. Had I known that nothing would be covered at Merlinos I would have found a different dentist that has a competent billing department. They also did the same thing to my wife, with telling her that insurance will cover a cavity.
At the end of her appointment she was hit with a 137$ bill (which is about the cost of a cavity with no insurance). The sad thing is they claim to be Christian however I am seeing multiple reviews of the same issues.
