I knew early on that I wanted to be a dentist. The epiphany came as a result of a roller skating accident in my early teens that caused me to spend a lot of time in the dentist?s chair. I didn?t like going to the dentist at the time and I knew there could be a kinder, gentler way. As a result I go out of his way to be gentle in treatments. It starts with allaying patient concerns or fears. Importantly I take the time to listen. I know how you feel, I've been there.
