Dr. Timothy P. McCabe was born and raised in Westfield, NJ where he attended Holy Trinity Inter Parochial School and Union Catholic Regional High School. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Montclair State University. He graduated Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, PA and completed his residency in pediatric dentistry from St. Christopher's Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. McCabe is the past president of Central Dental Society. He is a member of American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Academy of Dentistry International , Academy of Laser Dentistry and Academy for Sports Dentistry. Dr. McCabe is on staff at Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ where he has OR privileges. He mentors fellow dentists at the Overlook Dental Clinic. He is also on staff at Children's Specialized Hospital in Mountainside, NJ. Dr. McCabe is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He is certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support (B.C.L.S.) and Pediatric Advanced Life support (P.A.L.S.) He has been repeatedly named New Jersey Monthly Top Dentist and NJ Family Top Kids Doc's. Dr. McCabe resides in Westfield with his wife and three children and enjoys, running, biking, swimming, reading and boating with his family and friends.
